Since Heart of Barkness (the C&B before Of Mutts and Men, in a series that can be read in any order!) is a Mother’s Day Special Kindle deal till May 2 – $2.99 at all digital outlets, not just Amazon – here’s Song For Chet, the song that came from the book. Bob Edwards produced and made it happen, and also created this video. Mitch Watkins wrote the music. (I did the words.) The fiddle solo is by Gene Elders.

Today how about Song For Chet, the song from Heart of Barkness? Emmy winning Bob Edwards made the song and video happen, Mitch Watkins wrote the music and played guitar, Gene Elders played the wonderful fiddle solo, and I handled the words.

Yesterday we mentioned Song For Chet, the real song that came from Heart of Barkness, the Chet and Bernie novel preceding Of Mutts And Men (in a series which can be read in any order!). Here it is, with the video, production of both by my Emmy-winning friend Bob Edwards.
