    Good day to all!

    Good morning all.

Rio: re your spring bulbs. I remember one year everyone planted their bulbs too soon and just when they were starting to bloom, it snowed for 3 days. Out came the straw, plastic and even sleeping bags over the flowers and it helped a lot. Do you have a south-facing lot?

Has anyone seen the new Call of the Wild movie? I understand the dog is CGI (Computer Generated Imagery). I also read just the other day that when dogs are used in real life filming for tv and movies, that their tails sometimes have to be CGI as dogs tend to wag their tails too much in scenes. lol

Virus panic has hit Alaska with schools and public buildings closed, empty shelves and no tp to be had. Since all of our goods are barged in, it might be awhile. Usually I have backups in paper goods but had decided to let my stock run out. Oh well. Ironically Keenex and napkins were still available so I will survive. As I go through my cabinets, I find that I am well stocked on cat and dog food. My priorities are in the right place.

    Hobbit, ha ha!
We do not understand all this panic over toilet paper. But just in case there is something to it we want to share this with you all

The Shining was one of too many movies I haven’t seen. Most were due to lack of time or money or not being adventurous–this one was due to not watching or reading scary things.

Mom didn’t watch it either. King’s books are spooky enough, God knows what happens in the movies.

Advice from Curious Zelda-a kitty who has published a book of her 4-line poems and is on FB and Twitter (our rescues are full and the shelter is closed for any adoptions until the end of March or beyond; I hope yours’ are open)

    If you’re out of pasta
Or if you’re low on rice
    Adopt a shelter kitty
And they will bring you mice

Some of Chet’s musing should be made into a booklet. Just saying.

I don’t get the toilet paper thing either. Grizz and I did our food shopping today, and you would think this was the Bubonic plague. No toilet paper, no paper towels, no Kleenex, no water. People who haven’t cleaned their house in twenty years have suddenly decided to do so. No Clorox, wipes, Lysol spray, and almost no laundry detergent. Our neighborhood Starbucks has removed half of the chairs in the place to allow for “social distancing.”

Good news…We owe NYS less than $100 dollars, and the Fed owes us $4000.

Catching up on posts from a few days ago.
The Luke Appling glove is a rare beauty. Compared to that old glove, baseball gloves of today practically catch the ball themselves if you wave it in the general direction of the ball.
I had to google Luke Appling, having never heard of him before. Congratulations to your Dad for this thrilling honour.

Even up here in the boonies the tp shelves are bare!? If we run out, I believe I have found a use for all those unmatched socks.

Cost!…Just know that everything that goes up in cost now will never come down…sniff!…Yet another marketing scheme due to a major panic which is serious. But why scrape the low guys over and over again?….wheeze!
