Or bah-gan as we say in these parts. Heart of Barkness is a Mother’s Day Kindle Big Deal from now till May 2. $2.99 at all retail outlets, not just Amazon! Among many other things, Song For Chet appears in Heart of Barkness. Do you own a couch? That means you’ve got $2.99 under the cushions!

    Greetings!

I am laughing at the sales pitch for the Mother’s Day Kindle deal!
I can’t find any money under my couch cushions, but there are a lot of food crumbs in between them. Heh!

    Create a good day!

I always leap on these sales so that the books are with me on my e-reader. I know a bargain when a see one! I gain a book and gain is even a part of the word! Win/Win.

Sunny days here. I keep forgetting to look out for the Pink Moon as daylight now lasts a long time.

    Good day to all!
I love all of the full moons but pink is an especially pretty one I think.
Good heavens, April is almost gone. Hope all are having a wonderful Wednesday as we move through this week and head towards me.

Yes, April is almost gone and my refrigerator did not arrive yesterday so it is not being delivered today. New date? June 15.

My Mom doesn’t do e- anything. She’s 91 and does have an iPhone. We just bought her a new SE2 when her last one quit. But she only uses the phone and camera. She is just learning how to text by half the time ends up e-mailing and then doesn’t understand why she doesn’t get a text back. It’s a slow learning curve but since she started when she as about 87 she’s doing pretty good. She might even be able to do Facetime but that might be other people doing it for her.

I have some e-credits on amazon so I might just take advantage of this, even though I am only a dog mother and don’t normally get presents for Mother’s Day. At least not the kind of presents you would want.

    She is an excellent snuggler.

I wouldn’t be so quick to toss that bovine excrement around. There are shortages of the larger appliances still. I ordered mine September 16. Last day of the Labor Day sale. Still waiting. I get the pandemic and all that but I think that excuse is starting to wear thin at this point. My feeling is you don’t sell what you can’t provide.

I hear there is a one year waiting list for some of the GE large appliances. So your friend may have gotten lucky with that washer.

I am lucky in that turns out my refrigerator wasn’t dying after all. A box of girl scout cookies had slid behind the freezer drawer and was preventing it from closing entirely. When I discovered the box and removed it, problem solved. But the new refrigerator was already purchased and ordered and no refunds. Although I imagine at this point I could make a good case for canceling. So in for a penny, in for a pound. Or in Chet speak, in for a Slim Jim in for a Cruller.

It has also inspired me to do an in depth deep spring cleaning of the entire kitchen. I have another two months to continue the cleaning. With time out to dig up my gas line to be replaced. Yeah, when it rains it pours. Not sure what Chet would say about that. Probably something to do with tin mines and Hawaiian pants.
