Here’s a crazy thing. Scents and Sensibility, the Chet and Bernie novel now on sale in its digital version for $1.99, seems to be (at least this morning), #1 on Amazon’s list of cozy animal mysteries and also #1 in hard-boiled mysteries. Hello? How can anything be both cozy and hard-boiled? But perhaps on further reflection (a rarity in my M.O.), this clumsy pairing hints at something possibly appealing about the series. And that brings to an end this episode of on further reflection, unlikely to ever to be repeated.

    Good day all!
Hard boiled and cozy used together mmmm? It seems that inside of an eggshell would be very cozy that could be hard boiled. Maybe?
    Have a terrific Tuesday everyone

Maybe those are the words that repeat most often in the reviews. Some people see them as cozy, some as hard-boiled. Or perhaps it is mixed up with an egg recipe. Hard-boiled egg in an egg cozy. A hard-boiled detective story in a book cozy?
