Friend of the Month Reminder
Last day of the month! That means the door is closing for all who would like to be Chet’s June Friend of the Month. Every month the random number generator (below) picks Chet’s new friend. All you have to do is send in a pic to the FB page. The winner is the profile pic for the entire month (where Kimba is now) and the human companion gets a signed copy of the latest Chet and Bernie novel, in this case Bark To The Future. R#G awaits!

Another month gone. Time marches slowly on. I waver between wanting it to stop and wanting it to go faster.
The groomer is sick and their baths are delayed until tomorrow. Likewise the trip to the dog park.
Dolly had her bath two weeks ago. I told my Mom I would pick her up for the dog park tomorrow and cancel her bath appointment. We shall see if that actually happens.

Nope, Dolly is my parent’s dog and lives with my parents. I would never take her away from them. She is safe as long as they are alive. I am not staying overnight there the four days a week that I was. Long story not for here. I am at my home 7 days a week now. Dolly and Freyja get baths every three months (Diana monthly) and we always go to the dog park before their bath appointments. Have been doing that since she was a puppy. We were supposed to go today and it’s on the calendar, but the spawn apparently took Dolly two weeks ago. The August appointment is still on the calendar, I think, as well as end of November. I don’t know if I’ll get a chance to look at the calendar when I go tomorrow to pick her up for her playdate at the dog park. I don’t even know if Dolly will be allowed to come with us. Today my Mom said yes, but the spawn is living there now so he controls them.
She is eventually going to live with us and be part of our pack, whether that is at my house or if we all eventually move into my parent’s house. My lawyer assures me.
