Ah, Kentucky!

I’ve been away – helping a relative drive across this beautiful country, especially beautiful if you avoid the interstates as much as possible. I see that in the last few posts, which I wrote ahead of time, I forgot to mention that Short Tails, the new Chet and Bernie short story collection, also includes an excerpt from Bark To The Future, the upcoming novel (8/9).

    Good morning to everyone!
We were wondering if OFA might not be at home just because of the way things were written. Glad he is now home and safe and someone can tie him to his desk so he can write some more! Hope everyone has a thunderous Thursday without any real thunder in it.

    Greetings!

I have never driven across the country. I imagine there are so many beautiful places and things to see. Safe travels to you, Spence, and if you are already home, there is no place like it! :^)

    Create a good day!

Yes. Yes it does. And I read that first.

I’ve driven from San Diego to Phoenix and San Diego to Yosemite on my own. With my Mom we did San Diego to Monterrey. With both of my parents I’ve done San Diego to Las Vegas and we did a road trip from San Diego to Colorado Springs. That was the longest. I think my long road trip days are gone now. I was going to do up the coast of California via the old route 101 as it hugs the coast, is more scenic and you can take your time. Now that I have the dogs that would have to wait until they have both passed and I’ll be around 80 by then and I suspect will no longer be able to handle it.

Today is National Meteor Day and International Asteroid Day. Is there something they’re not telling us?

Mlaiuppa! I looked for the new K9 book from David Rosenfelt to preorder from Amazon. They did not show it. How did you find out about it?

Mlaiuppa, never mind. I found it through a email from Amazon. It is now preordered.
