“Say something that won’t make me feel so gloomy about this,” says Admin.

“Well,” says Spence, “Watson can’t fall in love.”

“Or out.”

“No, or out. Also he can’t have one too many.”

“There’ll be an add-on for that. And maybe they’ll design a program that replicates falling in love so closely that you won’t be able to tell the difference. That’s what they’ve done now – they’ve elevated computing power to a level where it looks just like thinking and soon it will be better than thinking.”
