Meet Chili!

September 28th, 2020 Posted 7:41 am

(“Chili teaching herself” – that’s it, exactly! Also, I believe Chet makes some mention of turtles or maybe tortoises somewhere in the series, but I can’t think which book.)

Congratulations Fred the Turtle and Friend!

The random number generator (which we’ve just sent back to the shop) has spoken and – and it said, “Fred the turtle and his anonymous friend from the nation within.” So congrats to the duo, Chet’s May Friends of the Month. As soon as we get a snail mail (although this doesn’t seem like the time to be adding snails to the mix) address for their human companion a signed and paw-printed copy of The Sound and the Furry will be on its way. Fred and buddy will be in the special place over on the right for all of May.

Next  month this could be you! Just send in a photo. The random number generator does the rest.

So many great pics coming in! Welcome new friends Zeus, Ozzie, Leon, Conan, Tuffy, Pepper from Iowa (cousin of Alice M. Johnson).

Enjoy Your Retirement, Eddie!

Tomorrow’s the 15th of the month and therefore time for What’s In A Name, where Spence and Ms. Publicist discuss a character name from the Chet and Bernie series. Any particular name you’d like to hear about tomorrow?

Welcome a bunch of fireplace-enjoying dudes, including a stuffed turtle. Is it a turtle? You decide:

Call on us anytime, Chet
