RIP: Trouble

“Trouble died?” Admin says.

“Yup,” says Spence.

“Leona Helmsley’s Maltese? The one she left $12 million to when she died, even though she – the Queen of Mean – froze out some of her relatives?”

“The same,” says Spence. “And why shouldn’t she have done that? And even if it’s wrong in some way, it wasn’t Trouble’s fault. Trouble gave this woman, maybe not engineered for happiness, a little of it.”
