Ice Cream Addendum
February 23rd, 2012 Posted 8:48 am
“Ice cream addendum?” says Admin. “That sounds like a somewhat addled Robert Ludlum title.”
“I forgot to mention one thing about Savannah,” Spence says. “In honor of the Book Festival, this great old ice cream place called Leopold’s names an ice cream for each of the writers. “
“And yours was?”
“The Peppermint Who Knew Too Much.”
“How was it?”
“Delicious.”

Spence promised the audience in Savannah that he’d post the beautiful quilt the Plunderers made for him, so here it is.
Welcome Ms. Sienna (with Santa). Callie Clever from SC, please try uploading again.

Savannah Book Festival (Yet Again)
February 19th, 2012 Posted 9:10 am
“How was the fest?” Admin says. He puts Spence on speaker.
“Great,” says Spence. “Beautifully organized, friendly, fun. Here’s a question – what do we know about coydogs? Half coyotes, half dogs – one of the kids at Beach High School, where I went on Friday, has one.”
“Not a thing, myself,” Admin says. “I’ll do some digging after breakfast.”
Digging? Half-coyote dogs? The day is shaping up very well.

Savannah Book Festival (And More)
February 18th, 2012 Posted 8:00 am
Admin is on the phone. “I hear Savannah’s a go-cup town, like New Orleans. I assume you’re taking advantage of that.”
I can hear Spence on the other end. It’s his voice for saying no.
“Well, maybe after your appearance this morning at 9:30, Telfair Square Tent. Are you going to sing Sundays in Savannah? You could pretend it was tomorrow.”
No sound from the other end.
Welcome back-up dude.
