“You seem a little frustrated today,” Spence says.

“What was your first clue?” says Admin.

“I guess when you kicked the wastebasket across the room.”

“Yes, I’m frustrated. Somewhere on this computer is a new picture of the quilt the Plunderers made us and I was going to post it today. But can I find it? No! This old computer has a mind like a sieve.”

“Time for a new one?”

“Who’s going to set it up?”

“Perhaps one of the kids will appear.”

“We can only hope.”

“Kris the videographer slash surfer taped it, or some of it,” says Spence. “So maybe you’ll be able to judge for yourself. And there’s a possibility of somehow posting it on the blog.”

“How’s that going to happen? We haven’t even taken a successful picture of you and the quilt yet.”

“I kind of liked that last one.”

“You were overdoing the smile, if you don’t mind my saying so.”

“Why would I mind a gratuitous insult like that?”

“See?”

“See what?”

Uh-oh. They’re off to a bad start today. Does anyone know if there’s a National Slim Jim Day yet? I can’t wait.
