The question comes up often: Are the Chet and Bernie short stories available in printed form? Answer: no. The first 4 – A Cat Was Involved, The Iggy Chronicles Volume 1, Tail of Vengeance, and Santa 365 – are available digitally. For example, you could read them on your phone. I myself would never read a novel on a phone, but a short story? That sounds perfect. Short story small screen. Alliterative and on point! (Nothing to stop you from printing them out.)

AND: the 4 short stories are also available on audio, narrated by the great Jim Frangione. As for the two latest short stories – Upper Story and The Iggy Papers – both part of special deals at pub time for Heart of Barkness and Of Mutts and Men – I hope they will also become available at some point.

Jim Frangione’s name came up yesterday. He does a wonderful and subtle job narrating the audio versions of the series. Can’t wait to hear what he does with Tender Is The Bite, coming in June.

From a listener to the audio version of Of Mutts and Men. And we agree about Jim Frangione, who narrates the audio C&B’s – he’s just great!

“Love Chet and Bernie. Jim Frangione makes Chet come alive.”
