“We want some patches, too, right?” says Admin.

“Absolutely,” says Spence. “We should be clear from the comments about how to do this, but we’re not. Maybe one of the Plunderers will tell us how in the simplest possible language.”

“Or simpler. Also we have to figure out some separate avenue for non-Plunderers to get patches. FB people, for example.”

“Who’s going to do the figuring?”

“Let’s flip a coin.”

Admin flips a coin. He and Spence do that sometimes. Admin always does the flipping. Spence never wins.

Welcome Buddy.

“The Iditarod patch?” says Admin.

“Fantastic,” says Spence.

“On that we can agree.”

“Proud to be associated with it?”

“Absolutely.”

“And with all the people.”

“Yes, sir,” says Admin. “And now for a link to a somewhat sad story, but maybe a bit heartwarming.”

“That doesn’t sound like you.”

“It’s not. Hat tip here to Nancy D.”

Wedding?

“What’s this about a wedding?” Admin says.

“Not sure,” says Spence. “It’s hard to keep up with all these people. Is Princess Anne still around? Princess Margaret? If you run into them ┬ádo you say, Yo, Princess?”

“Not sure. Hard to put yourself in the heads of heriditary rulers who don’t rule. I’m guessing they’d be a bit touchy.”

“But meanwhile,” Spence says, “back in the land of the free, a big thanks to Melanie – with input from BearSpiritDog – for figuring out the Iditarod patch thing. If she doesn’t mind, I’ll have a little discussion with David B. and then email her next week.”

Bear? Did someone say bear? For a long time I’d only seen bears on Animal Planet. Then came … maybe a story for another time. But isn’t it in The Dog Who Knew Too Much?

Welcome Sophia, two adventurers, Prisca, Peaches, Sneakers.
