“Those 573 lifetime pre-steroid home runs are looking pretty good right now,” says Admin.

“Think there’ll still be baseball fifty years from now?” says Spence.

“Yup.”

“A hundred?”

“Yup.”

“A thousand?”

“There will always be baseball,” Admin says.

Which I’m glad to hear. Just gnaw at a baseball some time and see what I mean. Try it today!

Spence says there’s a new excerpt from The Dog Who Knew Too Much – he calls it the tent scene, and I remember it well, although it was a bit confusing at the time – over here: the excerpt
