Three Gangbangers

Getting back to the blond woman with the tiny gun, I –

“And then,” says Bernie, “there’s Schrodinger’s cat.”

“As if Heisenberg hadn’t taken this indeterminate thing far enough, along comes Schrodinger – had two wives at the same time, by the way, one married to another guy – with his cat, this cat that’s alive and dead at the same time. That kind of thing drove Einstein crazy.” Me, too – that cat thing is one of the scariest stories I’ve ever heard.

And did Bernie just bring up Einstein? He’s come up before, some perp, can’t remember his racket, exactly. So was this a gang – Einstein, Schrodinger, and Heisenberg? Look out dudes – we’ve taken down gangbangers before, me and Bernie, those coke dealers from Pedroia, for example.

“Come to think of it,” Bernie says, “wonder if there’s a psychological connection between those two simultaneous wives and the cat in two simultaneous states?” He sits quietly. I tap my tail on the floor. Come on, Bernie, let’s go round up these lowlifes.
