“Dog On It is the Costco Pennie’s Pick for August,” Spence says.

“We know that already,” says Admin. “Ad nauseum.”

“What we haven’t mentioned is that Costco is now carrying all the books in the series,” Spence says.

“So when you’re picking up wine – Costco sells a lot of wine – you can also … ?”

“Exactly. You can also dot dot dot.”

Welcome Bindi, Sparky, Mindy, Bruno, Jericho.

“You’re speaking at the SEAK conference in Hyannis, Mass. tomorrow?” Spence says. “Won’t that interfere with tennis?”

“Actually not,” says Admin. “But thanks for your consideration.”

“These are all lawyers and doctors who are interested in writing fiction?”

“Correct.”

“And you’re going to tell them to mind their own knitting?”

“I am not. My topic is how not to get stuck.”

“You’ve got a few tricks in that regard?”

“Not mere tricks. These are scientific methods, developed through my study of quantum physics and – or versus – string theory.”

“Sorry I can’t be there.”

Going to Costco this weekend? Besides Dog On It, Pennie’s pick for August, they will be bringing in the other books in the series, one at a time.

Welcome Cubby & Brinkley.

“Good news,” Spence says. “Dog On It is the July Pennie’s Pick at Costco. And all the other books in the series will be there too.”

“Very nice,” says Admin. “And you can pick up a bottle of wine at the same time – Costco’s one of the biggest wine sellers in the world.”

“Cahors, do you think?”

“Nothing would surprise me.”

“What about if spiders started speaking?”

“Now you’re scaring me.”

“I think we should remind people that by going to the About button you can watch Melanie’s terrific Snowhook video,” Spence says. “Here at the blog we have a big interest in Snowhook Kennel, their wonderful team and owners, and the Iditarod race.”

“And while we’re at it,” Admin adds, “how about going over the Chet and Bernie publishing schedule? The paperback of The Dog Who Knew Too Much comes out June 19. Then there’s the e-short story, A Cat Was Involved – August 14. And Sept. 11 – A Fistful of Collars, the totally brand new novel. Should we mention the Costco news?”

“Let’s hold off on that.”
