“I understand that a lot of The Sound and the Furry – the new Chet and Bernie novel, coming in Sept. – takes place down in bayou country,” Admin says.

“True,” says Spence.

“Does food play a role?”

“Yes.”

“How about music?”

“That, too.”

“Don’t tell me Chet and Bernie go to Jazz Fest.”

“I won’t.”

Welcome Darah, Lucy Lou, Pookey, Emma P.

“We may have some news on this soon,” Admin says. “Title-wise. Meanwhile here’s a photo of bayou country. I snuck into your office over Thanksgiving, by the way.”

“What?” says Spence.

“Yeah. And just leafed through some pages, including that scene where Chet has an encounter with – “

“SHH!”

Welcome Bella (possible she-barker?)

Titles Reminder

October 10th, 2012 Posted 8:53 am

“Any titles coming in?” says Spence.

“Yes,” says Admin, “but I’m sworn to secrecy.”

“Should we remind everyone what this is all about?”

“How can it hurt?” Admin says. “The point is you out there have a chance to name the next Chet and Bernie mystery. All I know about it is it takes place mostly in the Big Easy and nearby bayou country. Please email spencerquinntitles@gmail.com with your title ideas in the subject line. That way we’ll have them all in one place – always the goal of the small-time bureaucrat!”

Welcome Dirty Harry from Tasmania, Flyn (good to see you again!), Riley, Murphy.
