Spence: What do you think of the mysterious Banksy?

Admin: Thumbs up. And not just because of “You Complete Me”, but at least partly.

Spence: Should we do something with painters and the nation within?

Admin: There’ll be no end to it. (This Banksy work was at 24th St. and 6th Avenue in Manhattan in 2013, but may have been damaged since.)

“Last day of the month,” says Spence.

“So therefore – although Bernie handles the so therefores,” says Admin, “It’s time for the Friend of the Month reminder.”

“Check the right of the screen. See Hubert? He’s Chet’s November Friend of the Month. His human companion sent in a photo to the Friends of Chet gallery. The random number generator – “

“East German Army surplus, circa 1956 – “

” – did the rest. Winner stays over there for the month and the winner’s human companion gets a signed and paw-printed – “

“And illustrated by Banksy – “

” – copy of the latest Chet and Bernie novel, in this case The Sound and the Furry.”

“This could be you! Just send in a photo!”

*All 100% true, except for the Banksy part. PS – Banksy, get in touch.
