… never sit and wail their loss, but cheerily seek how to redress their harms.

Good morning everyone! We feel badly for OFA. He chose the Pats again.
Magical first Monday in February to everyone.

Wait, struggle for the crown? Mom’s Complete Shakespeare was lost in the fire so she can’t look it up and is just guessing.

The game last night was actually better than the half time show and the commercials.
Always feel bad for the losers, but how exciting for the Eagles!
NOW…on to the Olympics!!!

Today’s post is really making me laugh…using Shakespeare to comment on the Super Bowl! Here is a link to the full scene from the play which is basically about the feud between the Lancaster and York families (Wars of the Roses):

Good morning all.

HRH B, thank you. Thought that was roughly what the scene was. Glad we can always count on you to come through in the pinch.

Although I did not watch the Super Bowl, I am always curious about the commercials. I heard about this one, and I love it!
Hope the link works…

I’m with BStover (thanks for the link). I’m laughing at today’s post.
I’m peeking out from under the quilt where I’ve been for a couple days with a cold I caught from a youngster. Today I have laryngitis and the man who-lives-in-this-house is out of town so he gets no benefit from this symptom.
Wose: I enjoyed the dirty dancing video!

Dawson: Hope you are feeling tip-top soon!
Eli Manning is a good sport! Over the years, he has done some funny commercials for various products.

Dawson: When I had laryngitis my doctor told me to put boiling water in a bowl, put a towel over my head and the bowl and breathe in the steam. It really worked.
5:19 pm on February 5th, 2018
Dawson: I forgot to say that you need to use the steam several times a day for about a week or until you get your voice back.
5:26 pm on February 5th, 2018
BStover: Thanks! I’m going to try that now.

Dawson, the DDD said ah ha ha ha to your laryngitis. He’d fall on his knees if mom got it.

The halftime show left me feeling “meh”. I only watched the second half, due to a Downton Abbey marathon on PBS. I still haven’t seen the first season.
