What a nice letter to receive from a fan!

I’ll give the answer to yesterday’s math problem shortly. I think Melanie would have had the correct answer.

    Buying Dog Biscuits –
A salesman packs his dog biscuits in boxes containing 16, 17, 23, 24, 39, and 40 lbs. respectively, and he will not sell them in any other way, or break into a box. A customer asked to be supplied with 100 pounds of the biscuits.
Could you have carried out the order? If not, how near could you have got to making up the 100 lbs.? Of course, he has an ample supply of boxes of each size.

SPOILER ALERT! The answer is 4 – 17 lb. boxes and 2 – 16 lb. boxes.

    Staff: Nice Christmas cats!

Our humans are having turkey buffet at the Reed House Hotel. It was built before the Civil War and was a hospital for both sides depending on who controlled the city. It should be interesting. We expect leftovers!

The humans here are Thanksgiving dining at the Hood River Inn on the Columbia River. The Schnauzers expect a little box of turkey treats upon our return.

Last year we were at some RV park in California on our way to Arizona. I had purchased a “Turkey Roll” with stuffing in the middle and a packet of gravy at Costco because it looked good. It was TERRIBLE! The joke was on me!
