Who’s Coming?

Normally on Sundays we do beginnings, taking a tour of the first few sentences or so of all the Peter Abrahams novels, including those written under the Spencer Quinn pen name. But we’re getting close to a certain day.

SANTA 365 is an e-short story (the 4th of the C&B shorts, readable, like the whole series, in any order). Here’s a helpful note from Mrs. Publicist:

“We’ve had questions about how non e-readers can read the stories. The answer is: many ways! If you have an iPhone, Android, or any other smartphone — download the Kindle, Kobo, Nook or Apple iBooks apps and you can buy it through the app. You can also download Adobe Digital Editions (for free!), then download the ePub version of the book (why not from Simon and Schuster?) and read it on your computer. You can even print it from your computer!”

    Hello Everyone–
I hope this finds you well and enjoying festive preparations of all kinds.
I’m taking a brief break from final grades to wish you joy on this December holiday (and only one of many). (Why does “brief” never look like it’s spelled correctly?)
Happy Birthday Herr B., your presence is noted daily.

News!…Our little Christmas Tree is up and decorated!…snort!…It looks great! The outside lights have been strung. But once again there is not enough of them (just like last year..grunt!). So someone is going to bite the bullet and buy more lights again and then again when the big 50% sales are on later….wuffle!
