Morning all. If you walk your dog and s/he poops, have a bag to clean up. If pee is the case, try to be sure it doesn’t happen on someone’s front yard. Dogs are creatures and we are lucky they are house trained. If you can’t be polite, let your dog do its business at home and clean it up when you get there. Fancy neighborhood or not, they are our pets.
    Good Thursday to all.

    “Poop scoops” are the answer.

    Good morning all.

    Greetings!

I think San Francisco needs to worry more about human poop on their streets than dogs!

Great answers all! Yes….Zoe and Murphy poop outdoors when we are on our walks. I decided a long time ago that the purchase of pretty poop bags is well worth it. Life is too short to be scrounging around for newspaper bags or bread bags. Maybe ecological folks would say, “Re-use, re-use!” but hey! I am known as “She Who Carries Poopbags” and those bags are going to be pretty because what is in them is not! And I pick up after my dogs every single time. Pee is a problem but I steer away from nice lawns to uncared for areas. So far I seldom pick up after other dogs, only will I do that if some mess winds up on the lawn of an elderly person in our neighborhood. Some dog parents are such shmucks.

I do economize by carrying one pretty poopbag and then one “secondary” newspaper bag which I slip into the pretty bag when it is used. And oh, is this “what to do with dog poop day?”

ALR, I just remembered…The other day when Spence posted the info on his bookstore appearance, you mentioned that it was too bad B&N doesn’t sell wine. The B&N in Eastchester has a restaurant and sells wine. The bookstore is a couple of years old. Grizz and I haven’t eaten there yet, though.

The closest B&N to me does have a coffee shop but as far as I know no wine!

Wine at the bookstore sounds good, but considering I set us up with a trip to Colorado (which was a great trip, BTW!)because I was reading Facebook and sipping blackberry wine…I can see myself coming out of B&N with an armload of books I could have gotten at the library for free! (Never fear, Chet, I always buy your books.)

Wine at a bookstore. How would I know what to choose? So confused!
