Mom is a Captain Grumpy Pants this a.m. as the boarder in the basement awakened her at 2:20 a.m. to be taken to the E.R. with a toothache on the morning before starting a new job. She says she thought own kids were a pain, but it is looking like strays are just the same.
Since she is a little behind the curve, let’s just say, “Monday, again, already?”

I have never seen a golden puppy either. Teddy is just the cutest puppy ever. You have a wonderful forever home, and a wonderful mentor who will be watching from the Rainbow Bridge, and enjoying every minute of your puppyhood.

We are totally in love with Teddy Ruff Rider. Youse guys have seen pictures of a Golden pup before. Pearl is a Golden too. She is just a lighter color.
Barb is making home made basil pesto and will be freezing it. Our kitchen smells like basil and garlic. Very aromatic.

Yes, we think you did the right thing, Oleys. We still can’t believe neighbors saw the dog hanging around all week and did nothing. A Shih tzu is a little small for your pack.
Pesto is made and in the freezer in an ice cube tray. one doz. pesto cubes. All you do is add a frozen cube to pasta and add a little Pecoroni or Romanno cheese. Basil is from our herb garden.

Teddy has made the front page of the blog! We are so happy for Wookie’s mom and dad and Teddy is adorable. We won’t be able to call him baby Teddy for very long.
Rio, As you know, Tulo is very injury prone. That may be why his head broke.
Fellow Sibers, Yes, We think your mom did the right thing with the wondering dog yesterday. My mom has had to do the same thing. If the little dog’s owner does not claim him/her, that dog should get adopted. Its chances are very good.

Cute little fluffy dogs are highly adoptable. The ones that have a hard time finding forever homes and pits, large black dogs and seniors.

Our Humane Society is a no-kill shelter. We see mostly pits available for adoption there. Sniff.
Thanks for weighing in, everybody. Mom is afraid that little doggie knew exactly where her home was, and that now her owner won’t find her. Maybe that is for the best, because the owner is very irresponsible if that’s the case.

Hashtag is the pound sign and it is used in Tweeting and Twitter. Not sure exactly what it means, Bee is probably right though. When the announcer is reading the email or tweet or whatever,they are always saying “hashtag” and it is like nails on a chalkboard. We think it is dumb!
Yes, the world is on the Royal Baby watch. Kate is in labor, but we haven’t had the news on for a couple of hours, so not sure of the progress. Can’t believe the amount of interest in that wee one.

On behalf of Little Teddy we want to thank Spence and everyone on the blog for the incredibly gracious welcome he has received. He is really looking forward to posting himself, which should come pretty soon. And he has already sent a message to Commander Rio on his go phone that he is working hard on that housebreaking thing, but it will take a while longer. However, he has found some of the training manuals that fearless Agent 00Wookie had prepared, and Is already busy trying to master all the basic skills. He knows that he has big paws to fill, but he is eager to get started as soon as he can.

We know nothing about the insipient birth of a royal two-legged. All we know is that all of our Royal cousins have been “tutored” – so no Royal births that we would give a hoot about anyway.
We do love that little Teddy face. Never met a puppy that couldn’t make Mama go all mooshy.

Our pretzels arrived with some chipotle mustard a few minutes ago. Yea! Will have with a cocktail later.
The Royal baby has arrived and it is a boy! No name yet, but a healthy, 8 lbs. 6 oz. Most people who care to speculate thought it was going to be a girl. For a 2 legged he will probably be really cute!
