Ummm, Spence, we already heard that and then had a discussion about it yesterday. Consensus was that we love the title and are glad that it is coming out in July. I think I remember that a certain someone was upset about having to read if first on FB.

Scents and Sensibility is on pre-order. You can be assured Amazon will somehow misplace my order and I’ll have to re-order come July 2015.
A dental appointment looms on the morning horizon for someone here. Early voting was done last week.

Just got back from voting. They had already had over 100 people at my little polling place. I asked my neighbor if they were using the same place this year and she said she didn’t know because she never votes. Duh!

I love the wordplay of the new title. It reminds me of one of my favorite figures of speech, zeugma. (The use of a word to refer to two or more words in different senses.) “He lost his glasses and his temper.”

Off to work an election polling place and will be gone 15-16 hours. I will be able to come home briefly a couple of times to check on cats/kittens/dog. Up at 5 am –certainly the earliest I’ve been up since retirement.

Greetings all. Home from working check-in at the polls. It was BUSY! This was the busiest we have ever seen our little precinct. Our ward captain said he had never seen the voting machine with a four digit number for votes cast – but today there was over 600 before noon. And evening is the busiest shift.
Rio – we look at things this way. FB is Spencer’s business outreach. WE are his “family”. He’ll never get a quilt from his FB followers. He’ll never have a calendar of FB dogs and kats. And facebookies may be facebookies, but WE are PLUNDERERS!
And if he can get some of his FB’ers to support Snowhook, all will be forgiven. sniff

Barb – Quick Time is just a media player – no worries. We can’t play the video id we are on IE. If we open the blog using Chrome, it plays just fine. Do you have a Chrome option? It is also safe to download that.

About computer problems: my career of 48 years was on the big IBM mainframe. Even in the last 10 years any problems I had with the PC on my desktop was taken care of by desktop services. At that time I was still in the world of Microsoft. After I retired I had yet another Microsoft-based PC go belly up like with little feet up in the air. In disgust I said it’s time to get rid of spinning disk drives that constantly fail, so I got a Mac Air with a solid state drive. this is so stable, it makes me wonder why I suffered so long.

Rio I am so glad that you still want me to be a part of the blog. Heh. Did you love my beautiful ‘hat’ in that video? It is actually a bit of laundry aid called a color catcher. Staff used it on some sheets that Dawson dyed a lovely lavender. She didn’t want the dye to run onto other fabrics. I think it is ME ME ME.
Staff made me put this photo up. It is disgusting. Really! But Staff looks funny with a tail mustache.
