We Almost Have A Winner! (But Close Enough)
Bernie says there are at least one hundred billion galaxies in the universe, and if that’s what he says I believe it. What it means is anybody’s guess. But that’s the only question Rebecca Rice and Megan, in combo, missed on the pop quiz, part two, and who cares, anyway? Did I make a rule about no combos? Or any other rule at all? So if each of them will send a mailing address to spence.quinn@gmail.com, a copy of Thereby Hangs A Tail, signed by Spencer Quinn and stamped by me, Chet, will be on its way.
Note from Admin: We’re working on the business card distribution idea. (Card appears on January 16th post.) Also, everyone here is pulling for Cosmo.

Congratulations, Rebecca and Megan!
Also twenty paws here crossed for Cosmos. Sort of funny seeing the Newfoundlands hopping around on their back legs with their front paws folded in front.
But hey, what wouldn't they do for a member of the nation within the nation?

Wow! Thanks a bunch, Chet! (And Spence, too.)
Cosmo, I'm glad this community is pulling for you– it might even make riding in the car not quite so scary.

Still waiting on pins and needles for word on Cosmo. It's late in the day and we're hoping for the good news?

Thinking of you Cosmo and hoping you will be back with us real soon. That is such a cute picture of you with Chet's book.

Congrats Rebecca & Megan! Wow, thanks guys for all your well wishes, prayers and support, you all rock! Sorry for the delay, Mom's been kinda tired, has had to keep a close eye on me, and do her artist work, so she hasn't been online. Well, the surgery went fine, I was scared at first, but the people there are real nice and I was out of it for most of the day anyway. One of the hardest things was no snacks the night before and no breakfast! I'm still taking it easy, but actually feeling pretty good. Mom says she'll feel even better when the lab results come back (I thought labs were part of the nation within the nation, but you know how human language is!)so that's the only other thing we're waiting for – we'll let you know that news too. Thanks again ALL of you for being such great pals!
Oh, I have one question for Chet – as Mom is reading THAT, she's noticed that you say "delish" a lot and she's wondering if you are a Rachael Ray fan? Whoever that is, at least she doesn't sound like a perp! Tailwags, Cosmo

Tails are wagging for Cosmo! So glad you came through the surgery well. Treats all around to celebrate! That Lab thing, really confusing like much of the human world.

Hey Cosmo– Wojo and Henry say they think maybe that's what the vet was checking: if you're a lab. But since both of them are nondescripts, they don't really understand what the big deal is. Anyway, so glad to hear you're feeling okay. Have some bacon. Definitely has medicinal properties…

YAY Cosmo!
Good to hear. I bet your Mom was worried and is really glad you are home with her. Take care buddy and keep your tail up. If your a Lab I'm a Beagle.
Your pal
