Virtual Tour Continues!

The virtual tour for the new Chet and Bernie – Of Mutts And Men, now in stores – continues tonight at 7 PM ET. Come join us at the great Wellesley Books! Here’s the link.

And here’s a review from Buried Under Books:

“If you haven’t read the novels, why not? You’re missing out, especially as each novel just seems to get stronger. I think Of Mutts and Men is arguably the best one yet. The reader can always count on an excellent mystery/adventure, always the very best of characterizations with lots of action, and stories rife with humor. In other words, riveting page turners.

Chet is the narrator, and believe me, he’s a great one. Yes, Chet is the dog. But he’s not a humanized dog. Not at all. He thinks how a dog thinks and acts like a dog acts. Love, loyalty, and a healthy appetite all wrapped up into one package. The story gets my highest recommendation.”

    Greetings!

Great review! My copy of “OMAM” will not arrive until next week.
Grizz and I are going to try to attend tonight’s virtual tour event.

Very humid in this neck of the woods!

    Make it the best day!

Woe is I, Woe is I.
Evidently salmon breakfast in bed (or rather Sadie’s bed) the other day was a one-time thing. Attendant says I ought to be glad I don’t hunt for my food but I do. What do you call breaking into the pantry and ripping open the kibble bag or batting around the plastic pitcher of kibble–one of these days that lid is just going to pop off and the kibble will be mine, all mine. The food jail thing (kibble bag in cat carrier) has defeated me so far but a plan is forming. Victory will taste so good…

I learned an important lesson that I want to pass onto other kitties. The other day I was lolling in the sun on the grass and life was wonderful except for Chessie being near by. I stopped lolling and quietly and quickly rose and stalked after her with only the most honorable and innocent of intentions. All of the sudden I was drenched in water! It turns out that Attendant didn’t have a spay water bottle in hand but a hose as she was watering the ferns. So my advice is to always check for humans before executing any intentions.

So I see Mr. Big has posted a written confession of breaking & entering, theft and stalking. He had better negotiate with Sadie to see if there are enough Slim Jims on hand to retain legal services for his felonious feline b-u-t-t.

On another note: that review would be hard to beat. Still no book today which means another day of cleaning. Drat.

Big: We rarely check for humans with hoses, but we always check for Beau before executing any intentions.

Grizz and I just attended Spence’s virtual tour. It was a lot of fun, and Grizz submitted a question and a comment that Spence graciously responded to.

GLAD: Thanks for posting the photo of the wee laddie, River. An offer stands for our childcare services. We bet River would make a great alibi. Plus, he looks very forgivable which we find is key in being forgiven.
