It’s school vacation week here in Mass. and elsewhere. Maybe you know a kid who feels like reading after a long hard day of playing outdoors – maybe skiing if there’s still snow, or surfing at Hanalei Bay. If so may I recommend the Bowser and Birdie series? The outdoors – bayou style – certainly play a role.

If I procure a fake ID, could I read those books? I am on a permanent vacation called retirement. :^)

    Create a good day!

I loved this series. Birdie has a lot of spunk.

Even after the housefire I have these books. I love them they’re almost as good as Chet and Bernie.
    Good day to all.

Highly recommended. They are on display right next to my Chet and Bernie books on my new bookcase. Also recommended are the Arthur and Queenie books. Bowser and Birdie seem to have closure at three books but the Arthur and Queenie books seem to have some openings for further books. Some unresolved threads. Is that too obvious a hint for more?
