Good morning everyone! The Tucson Festival is usually really special. Know OFA will the tomatoes.
Leonard and Amalia are still in the heart of the Hounds as they always are.
A warming trend here, clear up to maybe 40 today.
We are jumping headfirst into laundry and grocery shopping today since getting off our mountain is possible!
    Super Thursday to everyone.

    Greetings!

    What Masquers said!

Blue sky and sunny here in this neck of the woods, but cold.

Wondering how Friend’s spidey bites are doing…

    Good afternoon to all!

Rose!…Spidey bites turned out to be a breakout of Shingles….gah!gah!…My friend has never experienced this before but in her lifetime has known younger people suffer quite a bit more with the rash….wheeze!…It is very painful and it is around her belt area which makes it hard to bend and stretch and put away books or do anything…sniff!…But today she actually felt much better. The pain has subsided and she only has 5 weeks more before the rash goes away completely, so says her doctor…grunt!

    Tucson!
A desert surrounded by mountains. I’d love to see it someday but probably not this March. 🙁

Here’s hoping Miss Spidey-bites is okay.

I seem to be channeling, unwillingly, a gassy pug so I am skipping yoga class.

    Oops!
I know, I know. Refresh before posting.

    Shingles!
Well, at least you can’t die from that like you can from spidey bites. :-0 That’s the good news. The bad news is what your friend is feeling right now.
I got a shingles shot this year because I saw how badly my Dad suffered for a long time with the shingles. It was pricey but I consider it worth it if it stops or lessens the symptoms.

Dawson!…Youse are one Smart Dawg!…wheeze!…My friend was somehow under the impression that if one had chickenpox then one would be immune to Shingles. The opposite is true. If you have had chickenpox then you can get the dreaded pox…sob! …So beware all youse chickenpox people…sniff!

    Oops!
Wrong again. You can die from shingles but it is an extremely rare occurance. Mostly you just wish you were dead.
Dad had it on the right side of his face and it affected his right eye. One of the worst places to get it. My step father in law got it right when I was visiting him on Vancouver Island in December. His back was itching and he made me look to see if I could see anything, which I couldn’t. After I left he was diagnosed. Dam! Now my arm is itching!

Wishing!…Yes. Last week was really tough cuz my friend had 4 hour days of book shelving. All the damned books were on the bottom shelf…grunt!…This aggravated the rash and she was dying to get home and NOT MOVE….yeep!…But as I said today is much better. Not pain free but “better”…yelp!
