I have never ordered a paw-printed copy from any of the bookstores that Spencer visited, because I was so sure that one day I’d get to meet him in person. Now, I am thinking maybe I will order TFATF from one of the bookstores on this here tour.
AJ, Thanks for posting the photo of The Little Detective Agency, Alaska Division, in action. It reminded me of something I forgot to tell you. When I was at that special doc, he began to examine me, and then looked up at the ‘rents in surprise. He asked “Is he an athlete?” heh heh heh! AJ, put me on your team! I am an Athlete!!!!

Hmmm, still haven’t had time to even ponder a bit. Manic Masterful Monday here.
First it was a laid back Monday until Zoë realized the Pack’s collars were missing. They go neck nekked in the house because their collars can rub wrong on some of them. Zoë was searching high and low. I finally finished my coco and breakfast. I thought about the last time they had them on . . Friday and Zoë was tired when they came in from the walk / run. I wandered about a bit. Light Bulb went off (the old fashion kind, not the new twirly ones). The Pack had their “don’t shoot me, I’m not a bear” orange vests on. Sure enough the collars were with the vests.
After that? I have been having a Masterful Monday and GETTING THINGS DONE.

Oh, about lobsters.
When I lived above Boston, the guys were in grade school, and they did a lot of reporting on the area there.
When Salem was first settled (we lived in the area that all the drunks, pirates and Native American’s were put, now a different town) the lobsters were SIX FEET LONG.
Laws were passed that jails could only feed the prisoners lobsters 3 x a week.

BSD, Karen told me she is doing the Iditarod 2014. She wanted me me me on her team, but I had to turn her down, for two reasons. First, my <3 belongs to Snowhook and I'm awaiting a call from The Giant, and Second, she is going to be using Purple Ganglines! Imagine, Studly Me in purple! Gah!

When Barb was a kid, she and her BF Tina caught some crawdads in a drainage ditch which was no doubt very dirty. They took them to Tina’s house and cooked them like lobsters. Then they dipped the tails in catsup and ate them. Barb says she still gags when she thinks about it.

Maggie, Pop thinks he assumed I am an athlete because of my nice low blood pressure. Mom is sure it is due to the muscles I built up on all those hikes in The Smoky Mountains.
They were laughing too much to ask, because they once had a friend, who was a jerk and a braggert. But he was also asked at the doc’s if he was an athlete. We never heard the end of that.

When we lived in Southern Indiana we had crawdads as well as the blue tailed skinks. The crawdads would build sand colored towers of mud in the yard and lurk at the bottom of them. If you pulled up a long piece of grassy weed you could stick it down in there and they would bite it and hang on and you could pull them out.
As far as I remember we didn’t do anything with them once they were out. Unless my brother Chris used them as bait. That is a possibility.

Kelly just called and Judy called her to tell her little 34 lb. LuLu jumped up on the counter and ate the entire left over pizza they had brought home yesterday. There was about 3/4 of a large pizza in the box. If I did that, and I’m an 80 pounder, I would have the poops today!

LuLu is a counter surfer! Awesome. As others have replied this is not unusual for those dogs who have had worms for a while. We had to take back on of our pups at 2 years old. The person had too many family, business and health issues to take care of her properly. Lots of loving, but she had tape worms.
She never got over wanting to eat and eat and eat and eat . .
I know there were other things I was going to say, but I’m going to rest now.

LuLu is built for jumping. When she was here yesterday she jumped up on our patio table. They should take her to an agility class, because she is fast!
Does anyone know anyone who has done the blood test to check a dog’s genetic background? We have heard that it is around $125. Is it fairly accurate? Jim and Judy have a few $$, so they can afford it. We think LuLu has either some Boxer or Bull Terrier background, but are curious to see if we are right.

Barb, I don’t know personally much about the genetic blood test for dogs, but I have read that many people are surprised when the see the test results. Mom says she would check with the vet to learn which companies that do the test are the most reliable.
