Too Early For Christmas Shopping?

What a question! This is America. So here’s a digital stocking stuffer – the 4th C&B e-short:

Good morning, Bluecat and everyone! Actually feels like autumn here ☺️
Santa 365 is a good idea, we just won’t call it Christmas shopping.
    Have a super swinging Saturday.

Wowser, All eight Chet and Bernie books and the four e-book covers are on the quilt that we get to sleep under each night. How lucky can a two legger be?

To answer the question, yes, it’s too early.

    Good morning all.

Our contractor conveniently forgot to finish some things like tub enclosures. We have two tubs with no tile! So here we are in a new house with the showers that we can’t use yet but… look we are working on it!

Always wanted to live in a new house that I had to remodel!

    Good morning all.

The best time for buying a Chet and Bernie is any one of the 365 days (366 in leap years) in a year.

    Geography!
Canada is America too, as is Mexico.

    Contractors! It’s always something.
I am happy it is winter because there is a reprieve from dealing with contractors. In the Spring there will be more than enough stress caused by contractors to last me for a long time.

HOH: Do you mean to tell us that you don’t have a working bathtub/shower?! I would have to hunt that contractor down. I am addicted to my long soothing lavender bubble baths, complete with a beverage and a book. At least you do have that quilt to comfort you, but still…

Dawson, Master bath has a marble shower enclosure but also a tub with no enclosure and the guest bath you have seen. If and when I find this contractor again he will not not not be a happy man.

Also Dawson, after living in the trailer with a 5 gallon hot water heater for 11 months, cannot tell you how pleasant it is to take a long ,looooooooong shower.

Soon it will be a real bath.

Spent the morning picking up my fall pork order. Freezer is full of bacon, sausage, hams, pork chops and roasts. Enough good quality (and humanely raised) pork to last 6 months.

I am going to go sit out on the patio with a Louise Penny book. Just recently discovered her, and will eventually read the entire series.

And next I will read The Twelve Dogs of Christmas by Rosenfelt, or maybe the next Miss Julia book.

I love the Louise Penny books. Happy reading!
HOH, the tiling looks good so far. I wonder why so many long term jobs with contractors end up with unfinished work and bad feelings. It was frustrating for Zoe and me. I know it was for you.
I spent a few hours with the cutie bug granddaughter today. What a treat for me. How much she grows in just a week or two!

Did everyone set their clocks back early? I think that is the earliest I have seen the last post before mine.

Hi, Bluekat. Always a treat to hear from you.

    HOH….grrrrrrrr

BMALS….could you pass the bacon please?

Mom went to Trader Joe’s tonight and brought us a box of turkey and cranberry treats. Let the feasting begin.

Did I tell y’all that we got hijacked to some new place that doesn’t have a fence? I am ready to go home now, thanks..
