I can hear Spence, faint on the other end. “Great. Some people came from as far away as Riverside. And it was a SNAP event – link to come – so lots of members of the nation within were there, too.”
“And tonight – Seattle Public Library?”
“I’m getting on the plane.”
“But what about the camera? You lost it?”
The line goes silent.

Still a bit loopy from the drugs they gave me. But i don’t have to go back for 2 years! So the next thing is November on the eyes things again.
Dan will be moving completely downstairs of the west wing. There is ample room for his bed. The stairs are getting to be a bit much for him.

We are all indoors today, and we are bored silly. Mom and Pop are at work, but they say a bad storm is coming our way. We feel much better outdoors where we can keep tabs on storms.

We guys are all in trouble. We threw a party today, while the ‘rents were at the office. Things sort of got out of hand. We didn’t clean up before Mom got home. One hot redhead was wearing a lamp, which was hurled to the floor by another, along with one of the speakers. Dima gave new meaning to “cutting a rug”. Buddy and T.C. are acting all traumatized and making it sound much worse than it was.
When Mom got home, it was raining corgis and whatever, and thundering and blowing. After it lightened up a bit, we all went to the barn to feed horses, but then Dima took Kat on a field trip. Lets hope she didn’t get swallowed up by the flooding creek. Also, lur fence keeps beeping in the cellar and Mom says that isn’t good. Why? She won’t tell us.
Just another day on the farm. 🙂

I had my camera, but the battery was dead. *sigh* I really should have checked before I left. It’s not like it was last minute. But I was rushed. Had to pack a lot of stuff, including the dog and head to my parents’ place for dinner. They’re only 5 min. away from Mysterious Galaxy.
The evening was great. Beautiful Weimarainer was there with owner. Plus some very cute adoptees. My dog got some great sniffs of them on me when I got back to my parents’.
Got all my books signed and even won a frisbee. Now I just have to decide who gets which book for Christmas.

Not to worry. i’m keeping all my books. I had the first four in paperback. When I heard Spence was going to be in town signing I bought all four in hardback. So I got his sig and pawtograph on all FIVE of my hardback copies. Plus I got back in line and got my four paperbacks signed. I have three nephews and a niece. So I’ll decide who gets which paperback for Christmas.
No one gets my autographed books. I’ve been getting autographs for years and I never give away or sell my autographed books. Most of them are children’s picture books.
I have two by Nicholas Meyer; West End Horror and Seven Percent Solution. I have a Donald Westlake. And I have a typed and signed postcard from Isaac Asimov. My prized possession.
