Tonight! Live!
Tonight at 6:30 Eight Cousins Books (a Cape Cod institution!) will be hosting me for a talk and signing at the Falmouth Mass. Public Library, 300 Main St. I may read a very short passage from Bark To The Future, a snippet that maybe distills the whole series!

I’m half way through and …. I found a typo! I mention it because it is so rare. An extremely minor reason I love Chet and Bernie is because of the lack of typos and errors of any kind. No sloppiness here. But, I found one. Had to read it twice to make sure.
Page 127 half way down.
“What did say about it?”
Should be “What did he say about it?”
Not the sort of error a spell check program would pick up on. And if you’re a fast reader or skimming, you likely wouldn’t pick up on it either.
I’m a slow reader, always have been. I mean really slow. Like almost “read out loud” slow. So I pick up on this sort of error. And in a Chet and Bernie book this is extremely rare. I think in the 13 books it has only happened one other time and when I went back I couldn’t find it. (So I guess I’ll just have to read them all again.)
Just another reason to love Chet and Bernie. They are very well edited and proof-read.

I received my signed hard cover copy (from Eight Cousins) in the mail today. Usually I order way ahead and ask for a personalized copy. I have been a bit slow this time so they were already signed when I ordered. I have only read the first chapter so far.
