Hope Rose had a good first day yesterday.
Home today and waiting for Mr. Casey who is coming to do some carpentry. Erick the Evil is too rough to do the finish carpentry Barb wants done. Pat will be redoing the box bay window that is in our den. It was a bad design and the window leaks, both cold air and rain. He will also be putting up the chair rail in the newly redecorated bathroom. Josh is coming over to install a new light fixture in the master bath. We are excited.

I see maybe a touch of Shar Pei in Radar. He has the most unusual doggie ears I have ever seen, but he is a cutie.

HOH, Yes, it is raining lightly now. The leading edge of the leftover hurricane has arrived. If we get the amount of rain that is forecast, my internet may go out so don’t worry if I disappear for awhile. I am on high ground but things like internet and phone might stop working.

I am suffering from ear-envy. Why oh why don’t I have those big ears? Imagine how much I could hear! If I am able to hear Mom open the treats closet, when I am outdoors and all windows are closed, those ears would let me hear her open treats at her faraway office!

Something went wrong with the shots that Loulou had today. I took the picture of her hangdog look at 4 o’clock and she was still standing in various places without lying down by 6 o’clock. I coaxed her into her bed by the open sliding glass door and she took a little nap. I was hoping everything was okay. As the evening has progressed it is not okay. Once again she cannot lie down and she is whimpering a lot. I am beside myself with this.

No fever. It looks like it has something to do with pain and her back legs. She had each shot in each hip and I’m suspecting maybe a nerve or something was hit. I’ve been sitting on the floor so she could stand by me and feel better. She just finally got down to lie on the floor flat. I’m going to take her to bed now and see if she can settle on the bed. Talk to you all tomorrow. Thank you for your prayers and concerns.

LouLou I am so worrit about you. I hope you are better in the morning. I never thought too much about having more than one shot at a time. I do that with the Alice and Abbie because it is a 108 round mile trip to the Vets and we can’t run any other errands with the kats in the car.

Staff – that video was this evening at one of our favorite beaches. There is an ice cream stand across the street, and then a parking lot on the rise overlooking the ocean. We love to get ice cream, and then go sit at the beach watching the waves.
