Wow! You guys are up early!! Have a good talk and signing!
7:26 am on September 24th, 2013
Hi Rose! Mom is staying home with us today. Life was getting a bit much. Now she has to decide if she is taking a vacation day, or simply working in that office at home.
8:22 am on September 24th, 2013
Goood morning, everyone! Rose, have a good day. OH: tell your mom to tale it as easy as she can. Here, mom was up at 5:30, who knows why. She just hopes she can stay awake for OFA’s live stream tonight!
Have a terrific Tuesday, all.
8:28 am on September 24th, 2013
Good morning all.
8:50 am on September 24th, 2013
Good morning y’all. The Man has decided that I need more exercise so he has decreed that I will mow the yard. I have decreed that the yard will not be mowed this week. Friday the high is supposed to be 95. Sheesh, what I would not give for a little Alaska right now.
Tomorrow is me Mum’s birthday, I am wracking (wrecking?) my brain for a good idea of what to do. She would love seeing Wizard of Oz on the IMAX, maybe we will jet out to the newly reopened Chinese Theater.
Later
8:56 am on September 24th, 2013
O’Howlers: I almost took one of the sick of work days myself. Everyday life just seems to be a little to much for me to take right now.
8:58 am on September 24th, 2013
Macy’s Mom: I just saw The Wizrd of Oz in Imax 3D. It was wonderful! Sounds like a great idea to me.
8:59 am on September 24th, 2013
HOH: It always sounds like fun at your house. Can I come over?
9:07 am on September 24th, 2013
Rose: You are welcome anytime, if you can stand dog, hair, paw prints, drool AND feathers!
9:10 am on September 24th, 2013
And speaking of fun…Mom just found a mummified dragonfly on the sofa 🙂 Never a dull moment!
9:16 am on September 24th, 2013
Morning everyone. This morning we have a man climbing all over our roof to decide the best place to put the solar panels. Woo Hoo!
Macy – sorry to hear that your lobster tasted “flat” this year. Did you remember dip it in the melted butter?
HOH – your house ain’t got nuthin that we don’t got. Ok, so the feathers here are no longer attached to birds, but we do have feathers. Everywhere.
Howlers – we are holding your Mom’s hand across the web. Tell her to hang on- it WILL get better.
9:21 am on September 24th, 2013
The ‘rents were on the road all day Sunday. Yesterday, they came home from work a little early, hopefully to finally take care of me, and then guess what? They once again hopped in the truck, this time with the trailer empty, and did another 4 hour roadtrip. When they arrived home, Chato was in the trailer. He has this cool white bandage thing wrapped very debonairly over one ear. One eye is out, and the rest of his face is covered. Very cool. He is on a lot of meds…i think maybe he and i are twins!
On their way down to New Bolton, with the trailer securely locked up, this dude came racing up next to them, yelling and blowing his horn. He was telling them the back doors were swinging open! Now no way that can happen, because they latched them closed with those two spring clips after they dropped Chato off on Sunday. Now BOTH of those clips were gone gone gone, and the doors were indeed swinging open. What could possibly have happened?
9:24 am on September 24th, 2013
Solar panels? Really. That is so way cool! We want to put solar panels up on our barn roof (it’s huge) and get “off the grid”, whatever that means. Tell us more, Royals.
9:48 am on September 24th, 2013
Today is the big day – LuLu is going back to her forever home. This morning after we went out at 6:00, she came back in and curled up next to Barb for a little extra shut-eye. Doesn’t she know she was in my spot!! She also dug a couple of holes in the back yard, chewed on the hose sprayer and ripped out the patio door screen. She is either an angel or a devil, nothing in between.
I know we are going to get yelled at, but what time is the talk tonight, Illinois time?
Oleys, What exactly happened to Chato?
9:55 am on September 24th, 2013
B&M: (whispering) 9 pm.
10:13 am on September 24th, 2013
B&M, Chato had glaucoma and also his lens was behind where it is supposed to be. In April, the pressure was at 20-something. Over the summer, and especially when we were all at Barkwells, it looked like it was bothering him more than ever. Turns out the pressure was now at 40. He has been blind in that eye for quite awhile now. Yesterday, it was removed.
10:21 am on September 24th, 2013
I am sure he is feeling much better with the eye out. Poor guy!
Thank you HOH.
10:22 am on September 24th, 2013
Aaaarrrggghhhhh – we have a “new and improved” update on the iPhone. So far we are NOT impressed. Like now when we posted a fairly long explanation of the solar thing, hit “done” and watched the post disappear into cyberspace.
We are dashing out the door right now, but will tell you about it later.
10:29 am on September 24th, 2013
T&G, Did you do the IOS 7 thing? We did. Mom says the jury is out. We didn’t even know there was a trial.
10:30 am on September 24th, 2013
Mom says there should be an “Unsend” button.
10:31 am on September 24th, 2013
Now that I am home I am finally able to read my signed (and paw printed) copy of TSATF. I am at Chapter 8.
This is not a spoiler.
B? Have you read chapter 8 yet? If not, do NOT read the first sentence. Please. I do not want you to be upset…snicker
If you did read it already…oopsie…heh heh heh.
10:48 am on September 24th, 2013
Good Day Everyone. Looking forward to the Live-Stream tonight.
10:59 am on September 24th, 2013
Howlers – yup. And it looks like a hanging jury to us.
11:02 am on September 24th, 2013
We are supposed to help Mom mow grass, but how can we? We are at the scariest part of TSATF. Oh my.
11:11 am on September 24th, 2013
Howlers does your mom have a riding mower? Mom won’t let me ride on ours, but that could be because it doesn’t have a dog seat, or any other kind for that matter.
Royals, nobody told me about the butter. She just gave me the card after she read it to me. Flat indeed!
Ok,if she doesn’t want to chase a herd of dogs down the street, why does she leave the garage door open? Looked like an invite to me.
Rose TWOO came out when grandma was a pup and it has always been her favorite movie. One year we gave her a complete set of Pez dispensers of the characters. (OK, maybe not the flying monkeys and ALL the munchkins)
11:41 am on September 24th, 2013
We here have tractors that mow. We howlers don’t get to ride on them; our job is to make sure nobody gets in their way. That includes us. heh heh
11:46 am on September 24th, 2013
Boston is playing Colorado tonight but Spence won’t get to see the game. I will watch Spence tonight and just check in on the game. I fear the Rockies are going to be massacred.
YARK!!! Rebecca braved the cold, the wet, and the wildlife to obtain water from the Arctic Ocean. This will bring in big bucks.
Mom is excited, but the trip sounds a bit scary. We are wondering if Rebecca had to explain to any two-leggeds what she was doing. tee hee She could have just said that some of her friends are fruitcakes. (my mom)
11:47 am on September 24th, 2013
Chato: Those dancing giraffes are something, aren’t they? I hope you’re feeling clip-clop in no time.
11:52 am on September 24th, 2013
SiberH: My Lady wanted to get more of the ocean—what she did get was hard fought with the waves—but something told her she shouldn’t stay much long what with night falling, being soaked and cold, and fear of polar bears so she left. She had a good time doing it even if people thought she was a bit strange. When you see a woman walking through the snow by herself to the edge of town toward the ocean, you tend to wonder.
12:03 pm on September 24th, 2013
Staff: Perhaps we could unwrite that first sentence….
12:05 pm on September 24th, 2013
Staff: And I’m not that far. I’m only reading one chapter each evening.
12:09 pm on September 24th, 2013
Tenzing, We are proud of your mom, but we are glad she got out of there when she did. My mom, the fruitcake, never stopped to think, when she came up with this idea, how cold the water would be and the fact it is polar bear country.
This was all my mom’s idea, not mine. I would never suggest to anyone that they so much as stick a toenail in the Arctic Ocean. Gah
12:10 pm on September 24th, 2013
Bella: Reading of your foray into the frigid waters of the Arctic sent chills up my spine. You have gone beyond the call.
Riö: Watched the latest BB last night. Yeep! As things are now rapidly unraveling we wonder…oh where, oh where will/can it go from here?
Did you hear there may be a spin-off in the works? Hmmm…not sure about that one.
Have yet to catch up on Talking Bad. We did not like the previous episode with Dean Norris.
Royals: Solar panels and a brand new heater. Youse will be all set when the winter winds blow.
Unlike the silly Min-Pin, we here did not try to eat the lobster card. It is propped up on the counter as a reminder of good friends who shared their seaside feast with us all.
(whispering) although BSD is checking it out as we speak.
12:27 pm on September 24th, 2013
Hmmm, I have a bottle of Pacific Ocean water. I think I may need some water from the Arctic!
Frost here last night. Won’t get close for awhile. The tarp did a great job.
Life continues to be frantic. FINALLY, got some sleep last night, and at SIX THIRTY THIS MORNING my sister called. She was excited and forgot that the phone is in my room. I did get back to sleep.
It was while I was washing my mop of hair this morning at 9:00 am that I remembered I had an acupuncture appointment at 9:30. I was only 5 minutes late.
Leaving here at 1:30 or there abouts to go to the new doc. That appointment is at 3.
Going to try to rest. snicker

12:29 pm on September 24th, 2013
Let’s all take a vote. Next year we think T & G’s folks should send each of the Plunderers a full case of live LOBSTERS. What do you think? It is good to share.
Well, it is almost 11:30 and LuLu is still here. Judy is one of those people who is always late. Barb is really, really punctual, so she is starting to grumble.
12:40 pm on September 24th, 2013
Dear B. We would only have to change one word. I am glad I was able to warn you in time…:-D
12:44 pm on September 24th, 2013
Barb and Maggie, I vote, YES!!!
12:47 pm on September 24th, 2013
Siber-H: Ditto!
12:52 pm on September 24th, 2013
Uh, thanks for the thought, but the North Texas branch of the Internet Reading Club will pass on the real lobstahs.
Re: iPhone update. Our new ringtone is pretty, but it takes Someone a bit to realize that the pretty song is the phone. Sheesh. Dad loves the flick-on flashlight. He could read the bill in a dark pub last night. Mom had tea, Dad had Dirty Bastard Ale. (Let’s see if this makes it past!)
1:10 pm on September 24th, 2013
HOH will pass on lobsters too…let them stay in the ocean.
Macy: of course your ale went through, it is the Clean Bastard Ale that has a prob;em 🙂
1:42 pm on September 24th, 2013
I used “unwrite” because there is no such word just as there is no such word as “unquote.” Grumble….
1:45 pm on September 24th, 2013
I just saw a woodpecker–I think it was a “Downy.” White with black spots and a bit of red on the head. He didn’t stay long but he was beautiful.
1:55 pm on September 24th, 2013
HRH B You probably have both Downy and Hairy where you are. They are so similar and only slightly different in size. They drive me crazy with ID. Book says “with practice you can”. Who can get the little beggars to stand to measure their bills!
2:05 pm on September 24th, 2013
HOH: Looking at my bird book, I think that it was a Downy because he was smaller than a Hairy and his beak was not that long. I wish he had stayed longer but he saw me and flew off.
3:01 pm on September 24th, 2013
Well i found the one thing Chet and i do not have in common: ice cream. But that’s the only thing.
3:21 pm on September 24th, 2013
Bee and HOH – we just got home and found a Hairy Woodpecker just going to town on one of the suet seed cakes we have hanging. He didn’t even seem to care that we were just feet away from him. He was feasting, and wasn’t about to leave.
Ok – back to the saga of the solar panels. Our town wanted to go greener, so they researched and found this particular solar company. Had panels installed on quite a few city owned buildings and schools. Then the company offered to do a roof lease with residents. They maintain ownership and maintenance of the panels that they place on your roof. You get credit for the gathered solar power. There is a up-front commitment payment, but you get that back with interest as soon as the panels are actually installed and collecting.
We have full southern exposure with no tree shadows on the roof at any time of day, so the company was excited to get our roof. Today they just did a weight bearing survey, and certified that this house is eligible. Not sure when the panels will be installed, but it should take a hefty chunk off the electric bill.
Barb – hahahahahahaahhahaha -very funny. A case of ’em, huh? Be careful what you wish for…..
3:25 pm on September 24th, 2013
I do not want any lobsta’s either. I saw leave them to the Storyteller.
Yay on the Solar panels. If we could all do that we would no longer have to worry about the energy shortage. Or paying the electric bill. Germany is going that way and the government is helping!!! Our govenment? Not so much. sniff.
I am sorry guys, I know the rules..sob sob sob.
3:36 pm on September 24th, 2013
I hate waiting . .
AND, YSAS and LLL got the apartment!
3:39 pm on September 24th, 2013
Or, as the city is called in a Quinn book – Potsdale.
3:52 pm on September 24th, 2013
Melanie – thinking of you.
T&G’s mum – thanks for the pretty beach picture and the sentiments.
We’ll be off grid for a few days. Take care of each other.
4:00 pm on September 24th, 2013
Melanie, Waiting is awful. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
4:20 pm on September 24th, 2013
Staff, We are with you, and we don’t think getting our economy moving on alternative energy should be considered a political discussion. To us, it is a no-brainer. Unfortunately, there are too many no-brainers in government.
Melanie, we are with you in spirit here. Hoping and praying for a good outcome.
Can we split those LOBSTAs with Maggie?
4:25 pm on September 24th, 2013
Lassie just showed up in our Chet’s Friends. We just saw an episode of that old show this past week. My gosh – how chauvinistic shows were in those days. And what horrible acting by today’s standards.
We also saw an old episode of Lone Ranger. We never knew there was another Ranger before Clayton Moore.
4:32 pm on September 24th, 2013
Royals, the other Lone Ranger was not before Clayton Moore, he was in the middle of him! Around season 4 there was a contract dispute and a new one was brought in. They got it worked out and CM came back. We watched LR everyday at lunch this summer. Mom called the new one the Faux Ranger.
4:53 pm on September 24th, 2013
Mom would love to catch an episode of the lone ranger, with the real deal of course.
4:56 pm on September 24th, 2013
Ok gang, we need prayers, double time.
Melanie and Zoe are on their way here after seeing the doctor. All we know so far is that they are both crying. We are, of course, scared to death, but we are trying not to get too upset until they are here and can fill us in.
Meanwhile, we just put on the teakettle, and put a batch of gluten free fried green tomatoes in the oven for them.
We will fill you in soon. Pray hard, ok?
5:16 pm on September 24th, 2013
sob, We are praying realy hard.
T&G I am very glad they are going to your house.
5:18 pm on September 24th, 2013
Crying!….I am hoping with all my pug-heart that they are crying with Joy!…snort!
5:20 pm on September 24th, 2013

Loving thoughts and strong prayers being sent from Westchester.
5:36 pm on September 24th, 2013
Macy: Wish I had TWoO per dispensers! Very cool!
5:41 pm on September 24th, 2013
Special, special prayers coming from Texas. Hang in there, Melanie and Zoe! Thank goodness they are going to your house, Amalia.
5:52 pm on September 24th, 2013
Oh my Dog.
Amalia and Leonard we are so glad you are there for them.
prayers coming your way.
5:54 pm on September 24th, 2013
Echoing what so many of youse have already said: Melanie and Zoe could be in no better place than with Amalia and Leonard right now.
Sending love and healing thoughts and prayers.
5:58 pm on September 24th, 2013
I just took a dancing giffaffe pill so i’m a little out of it, but holding my breath and praying all at the same time. Please let us know asap.
6:05 pm on September 24th, 2013
Ok – here is what we know so far. Not much.
There is a mass in Melanie’s liver. It wasn’t there 6 months ago. She will be going in to have a biopsy next week. Until then, we don’t know if the mass is one type of cancer, which would mean a liver transplant, or another type of cancer that we not even going to discuss, or if maybe, please dear Creator, if maybe it is a benign mass.
Melanie really liked the specialist, and felt that he was very knowledgeable and upfront with her. She feels safe in his care, and he is VERY pleased that she stood up for her rights after the cat scan debacle. He promised her that he will watch over her during any and all treatment, and make sure nothing non-sterile touches her.
You know, Melanie and I have been back and forth for many years, joking about which one of us has the weirdest medical stuff. Thank dog neither of us has had anything that is immediately life threatening. So, I am going to believe in my heart of hearts that this is another one of those things for the Medical Weirdosities Book, and that it will be another of those things that has the doctors scratching their heads. Leonard has pronounced that she was just practicing by growing pearls in her knee – by now she should be up to diamonds in her liver.
And I have told her that she officially wins our contest, so she can stop trying now. She is the Reigning Queen.
Thank you one and all for your prayers and good wishes. We will all get her through this – just wait and see.

Thinking of Melanie.
6:23 pm on September 24th, 2013
Amelia, You are right. Melanie will get through this and she will be fine. We will all get her through this.
It is such a relief to know she has a great doctor.
6:33 pm on September 24th, 2013
Amalia: Thank you for letting us know what the good doctor said. It is a comfort to know you and Leonard are close by.
Melanie: We are visualizing the very best possible outcome for you. Sending lots of Love & Positive Thoughts your way.
6:58 pm on September 24th, 2013
Amen.
7:11 pm on September 24th, 2013
I do not like this one little bit. But I do trust the Good and Loving Creator, and we must believe that all will be well. Love coming through the wind…..
7:14 pm on September 24th, 2013
T&G’s Mama: Thank you for the update. You are right, it is the uncertainty, the not knowing, that makes us crazi(er). Once knowledge happens, we can be strong. And you are some of the strongest ladies around 🙂
7:24 pm on September 24th, 2013
Well, that was carpola.
Zoë and I do like the doc, and as Golinka says, he is looking out for me. So is my liver doc. He has my back, and this doc made sure I knew that.
I thank you for all your prayers, good thoughts, good vibes and good whatevers.
My guys and gals are very upset. Please include them in your thoughts.
We will know soon when the biopsy will be. Probably Monday.
I know that both Zoëand I have you guys looking out for us.. Many of us on Chet’s Blog have gone through this and other things.
We will Plunder on!
7:27 pm on September 24th, 2013
Not only will YSAS and LLL sign a lease . .
YSAS is signing with a Legit Agent.
(This is a great thing!)
7:38 pm on September 24th, 2013
We will keep you in our prayers, Melanie and Zoe and your boys too. Glad you like the docs too, that is so important for your peace of mind.
7:53 pm on September 24th, 2013
Melanie: We love your Good News about YSAS & LLL!
7:58 pm on September 24th, 2013
Melanie: Add my prayers to the huge pile already received.
Congratulations to YSAS and LLL on signing a lease and to YSAS for signing with a Legit Agent (although I am partial to the non-Legit Agent)!
T&G: I will break out in spots if I eat a lobster but before I knew I was allergic I bought a couple live ones at the grocery store and put them in the bathtub while I boiled some water. When it came right down to it, I could not boil those critters alive. I brought them home to mom and dad. I don’t know (didn’t want to know) what they did with them.
7:58 pm on September 24th, 2013
Vote!….We here all vote for Melanie to be in “The Medical Weirdosities Book” paws down!…snort!…Then she will be known far and wide for her weird liver…chuffle!
Agent!…Clarkson has signed with his second Agent!…chuffle!…We can only hope this Agent is as great as his Momanager was (and is!)…snorkel!…What a really wonderful and ground-breaking thing for him. Although, won’t he have to Pay this new Agent real money?…wheeze!
8:03 pm on September 24th, 2013
Dawson: I have to close my eyes when I walk past the aquarium in a Red Lobster restaurant.
Sadie and I have been taking it easy today. A little unpacking, a few errands…reading OFA, waiting for the live stream.
8:09 pm on September 24th, 2013
Stream!…Oh yea! The Live-Stream! Spencer will be Streaming Live tonight…wheeze!….I hope he says or does something funny or unusual to let us know that he knows we are all watching him….hint!hint!sneeze!
8:12 pm on September 24th, 2013
CHobbit and Dawson: Mom is weird about eating things that had a face but she is trying to modify that to no mammals and no carcasses at the table. Lobster loses on 2 counts.
8:24 pm on September 24th, 2013
Set!…I’m all set-up with a Livestream account…sniff!…So I can post remarks (if I dare) while Spencer is talking and pointing with his head…chorkel!
8:34 pm on September 24th, 2013
Riö, yes, YSAS will have to pay this agent.
If I’m still able to function at 10, I will be tuning in.
I forgot to tell youse guys . . I saw a Bald Eagle this morning!
Awesomely huge and beautiful.
8:54 pm on September 24th, 2013
I’ve only seen a Bald Eagle once and awesome is a good description.
8:55 pm on September 24th, 2013
Pay!…That being paid thing is good incentive for the Agent to find Clarkson some good gigs…snort!snort!…I can’t wait to see what will happen next in the Life and Times of Clarkson!
9:05 pm on September 24th, 2013
Sighting!…Pug-Eagle!…snort!
9:17 pm on September 24th, 2013
Sneeze!….Awesome!…sneeze!
9:19 pm on September 24th, 2013
Just checked in on the blog now. Thoughts and prayers most definitely with Melanie and Zoe and the rest of the family. Plundering on is what we do best, and that is what will get Melanie through this. There is some fairly awesome power on this blog and we will be united in our support for Melanie and with that anything and everything is possible.
9:19 pm on September 24th, 2013
Oh, now Rio, really. That is just SO wrong on so many counts….
9:21 pm on September 24th, 2013
a Peagle? Or an Eagug?
How about an “Egad – what WAS that thing that just pooped on our windshield?”
9:25 pm on September 24th, 2013
What?…sniff!…I’m cheering Melanie and Zoe up just a little I betcha…wuffle!stomp!….Waiting is hard – and we have a long long wait in front of us. Are we going to be glum and depressed all week, weekend and beyond?…sniff!…I seriously doubt Melanie would like that very much even if she only read every other word of it…grunt!
9:25 pm on September 24th, 2013
We think the Peagle’s yellow leggins are truly fetching, bless his heart.
9:26 pm on September 24th, 2013
Pug-Eagle!…snort!…A Pug-Eagle.
9:28 pm on September 24th, 2013
Tupper’s Mama: our question is: if it did poop on the windshield who would clean it?
9:30 pm on September 24th, 2013
Poop!….Pug-Eagle poop is a stickler!..sniff!
9:33 pm on September 24th, 2013
Mom felt truly, human, on her game and tip top today for the first time in a long time. She tired us all our but now comes payback. 27 minutes to live stream and she’s having trouble keeping her beady little eyes open 🙁

I just got home and caught up on the blog. Melanie, please know I am sending hugs your way. Remember to think like a dog. Here and now. No worrying when you don’t know if there is anything to worry about. Much easier to preach it than to practice it, I know. But try, o.k.? Love, love, love…lots of it being sent your way.

Why is the lady questioner holding the microphone in her lap instead of speaking into it. GAH
10:24 pm on September 24th, 2013
Riö is correct! (How many times do we hear that?)
No being morbid and sad. Heck with that.
That Pugle was terrifying at first, but when I realized it was one more two legged messing with a pug? I had to laugh.
I will be watching OFA tomorrow. I missed most of it already.
Thanks Everyone,
TTFN

I am at the airport and just catching up on the blog. Melanie, Zoe and the whole pack—you are in my thoughts and prayers. Other than Coach and Bev’s I can’t think of any place I’d rather be than with Golinka and the Storyteller if I had to play the medical waiting game. They are very calming and comforting people.
Rio: Sometimes we have the choice to laugh or cry when life gets tough. I’m with you. Let’s laugh, enjoy one another on this here blog and try to make the waiting game we’re facing as easy as possible for our friend, Melanie.
I am on the late flight tonight so I will stay in Anchorage. After tonight’s flight the next flight I’m on is next week when I head to Coach and Bev’s house in the lower 48 before attending a conference for work. I can’t wait. I’m exhausted. My employer said to see what the cost of a regular round trip ticket is for my conference, then see what it was to add a visit to Coach and Bev, and pay the difference. I learned a thing or two from Stinky Mama about shopping deals for airfare and was able to get it cheaper than the ticket just to and from the conference. Yeep!
11:03 pm on September 24th, 2013
OFA’s live stream came back after the pop quiz for the Q&A. Some similar and some different stuff from Hotlanta. Interesting.
11:03 pm on September 24th, 2013
We enjoyed the live streaming! Spence gives a very intresting talk that is sometimes very funny…just like Chet.
Rebecca, I hope you will get to rest soon. I know you are ready for a chance to slow down.
The Rockies are going to win this ballgame!!!
night all
11:06 pm on September 24th, 2013
Good to know that Rebecca is safe. Mom has bags under her eyes large enough to pack for a world cruise so we are putting her to bed 🙂
Nighty night.
11:06 pm on September 24th, 2013
Snowbella – sniff – such a wonderful student of cheap travel shopping – you make me so proud! Have a wonderful time with Coach and Bev. Wish your conference was here in the northeast. It would be grand to get a chance to visit again.
We got to watch the whole live stream, except at the end when Spence started to say “I forgot to tell you…”, and the live stream stopped. Carp! Bet he was going to tell them all about the WonderPlunders and how we make his whole life possible. tee hee.
11:06 pm on September 24th, 2013
Spencer!….snort!…He has a dis-jointed way of getting his points across but we here all loved watching him tonight…snorkel!…He must have combed his hair different cuz his head was not that pointy, but his Paws were Huge…chorkel!…I posted a question but it was never asked. Not once did he mention the Blog or the Quilt…grunt!sniff!…Oh well, maybe the joy is dying.
11:08 pm on September 24th, 2013
Game!…Rockies 8 ta 1…sniff!…Take that Spence…heh!

Golinka: I like to think I graduated with honors.
11:12 pm on September 24th, 2013
Good night youse guys. I said that at the quilt store tonight as I was leaving early to watch the livestream. They looked at me funny.
Melanie is under the quilt and that will help. Tenzing as a pillow is also a good thing. That is if the newfies will let Tenzing near her.
Hugs everyone.
11:13 pm on September 24th, 2013

11:22 pm on September 24th, 2013
Goodnight all. Sleep well and dream of the next book where chet and Bernie take Washington DC by storm.
Of course, Chet doesn’t especially like storms, so…..
11:43 pm on September 24th, 2013
For Rio (with apologies to Ogden Nash), from the Sharon zombie:
Peagle, peagle in the sky
Why’d you do that in my eye?
But I’m a big girl, I won’t cry
SPLAT, splort, Wah!
Maybe now I can stay asleep.
11:53 pm on September 24th, 2013
Great talk. Spencer’s brain is rather disjointed–probably the reason why he can write Chet so well. 🙂
12:24 am on September 25th, 2013
Staff: We here under the quilt are taking turns being Melanie’s pillow. When we are not on pillow duty we snuggle around Melanie. We are a mass of Melanie, drool, the occasional dancing giraffe, and love. No liver mass has anything on us let me tell youse.
Nighty noodles all youse.
