    Here’s an article about Tom’s injured hand…

Brady’s injury is especially important for bookmakers. :^)

Good a.m. everyone. I went to bed at 1:30, woke up at 3:30 and got up at 4:30. Taxi arrived at 5:30 to take me to airport. I am flying to FBX for three days.

As usual, between 8:00-midnight I was dealing with a cat problem. Two of my fosters were adopted last April by an elderly man. One ended up with another rescue last night so scared. Conflicting reports of man abusing cat or cat attacking man. Two cats were adopted together. Today our rescue will try and find out what happened to the other cat and bring them both to my house.

I relocated my two fosters to other rooms (both are adopted and will leave soon.). I cleaned and sanitized my “cat room” for these two incoming cats. I almost canceled my trip but am proceeding. The trip was planned and I’ve been way too busy and stressed NOT to get away and see friends. Emergencies always happen on Friday night! Good news is that Sadie is doing better and beginning to put some weight on her back leg. I have to leash her when I take her out to the bathroom or she heads down the street. Both of us miss our walks. She is getting laser treatments and shots. She lost .5 pounds with 12-15 more to go.

    Safe travels, my friend!

The Hounds are right…Opposable Thumbs are a Wonder…especially to Members of the Nation Within.

Wose: Thanks for the link in Explanation of today’s Post Photo.

CHobbitz: Trip Turmoil right before you leave! And, yes, things always do seem to go wrong right before the weekend, or Any Other Inconvenient Time we might add.
Happy to Hear our Sadie Bear is improving day-by-day.
Echoing Wose’s wishes for Safe Travels. It’s Time to Relax!

Hobbitz, you are special. Those are some lucky cats. Hey, someone tell Mr. Big how lucky he is to have commandeered Hobbitz.

Wait?!? Are we supposed to name our dew claws? We had no idea.

We’ve given it a fair bit of thought. My left and right dew claws are named Slim and Mr. Fireslippers respectively. Wee Nigel is torn between naming his left dew claw Thunder or Pancho, and naming his right dew claw Ligthening or Lefty.

    Hi, guys!
Hobbit, enjoy your visit with friends.
Rio, either Staff or Dawson mentioned that their Dad had shingles on his face. Mom and I are very glad your friends is not there. At its worst, Dad looked a bit like a cartoon. The entire side of his face was swollen and began sagging. He was so miserable!
We are finally above freezing. Did I mention we had a pipe burst? Luckily in the attic at the outside corner of the garage. We had to live without water for a day until the plumber could get here. Well, actually, we cats didn’t do without water. Mom filled our bowls with bottled water.

Katz!…Get bottled water?…gah!…I’m forced to eat snow off the ground and fight for seeds and nuts with the lousy squirrel who lives here. He is so FAT. And so obnoxious….grump! …My friend will take a photo and post it one day. He jabbers at her constently when she is outside filling the bird feeder…and his Box. Yes, he eats out of a box….groan!…Bastard.

    Ole Doc,
I will make sure Mr.Fireslippers is aware of his honor. I am sure he will feel quite modest to have a dew claw named after himself.

CHobbit. Your signs were great! I saw some fun signs at my march too but did not take any pictures. We were very lucky that it was warm today in Fargo. It was in the 30’s! I didn’t even bring a hat (but my coat had a hood). My favorite sign (that I can remember) was a young man with a sign that said “This feminist has balls”) LOL it made me laugh out loud and he laughed with me. I think he was about 8 years old! It was not a huge turnout. Last year we had between 2 and 3 thousand. This year less but the march was still about 10 blocks long!

Staff!…Fargo!…snort!…We here are watching last years show. It it awesome so far. I’m sure your Fargo is far different than the TV version.. Or is it??…yeeep!

    Hey there Rio,
Yes I am sure your Fargo is vastly different from most of my Fargo.
Whenever I am up in the middle of the night (and in my mind it is Oh dark thirty) I think of our heart friend Melanie.
It should be lighter here in about an hour and a half. Hopefully by then I should be tired again and can go back to bed. Henry woke me up by laying next to my head and making loud slurpy noises as he groomed his soft silky fur. I tried to nudge him off but it ended up with me out of bed not him. Grump.
