So since I will be dead on tv on CBS’s Elementary. I figured I would share two stories. One tonight and one after the show tomorrow.
The first day I worked I was in make up most of the day. For all the evidence photos and test wounds
When they were applying the autopsy scars on my chest I felt the make up lady pull a few hairs. No problem I’m a man I won’t say anything. Later when the day was done she went to remove the scars and found that she actually stitched me, TWICE. Same spot both sides. Ouch. But lol.

I think I saw Hatch green chilis at Fresh Market. I asked if they had tahini paste (used in making hummus) and they had 3 choices!
I got a big hunk of salmon there last week during their 2-for-1 sale, and cut it into serving pieces. We still have a couple in the freezer, so I could bake them with a little lemon, butter and dill and Maggie can bring them to the party. Three ways to enjoy salmon.

Melanie, The show is on here at 9:00, so we will be watching it at the same time. The description says “Holmes investigates the murder of a young man who was shot while entering his apartment”. Assuming he is already dead when the show starts. I would think it would be difficult to stay perfectly still and not breath or flutter one’s eyes. Clarkson must be a really good actor!

That is an interesting question. I don’t know if anyone knows why for sure. It would make a good psychology master’s paper. Maybe because years ago when it all started they kept records And maybe the type of people who like baseball are part history junkies and part sports fans. The stats get really intricate and convoluted. There are many books about baseball stats.

Remember earlier this year when the Red Sox had the 17 inning game with the Orioles and they both used a regular player as the pitcher when the real pitchers were all used up? Well everyone was all excited because (according to the Washington Post) “That’s when Davis wrote his own chapter in history, becoming the first player to go 0-for-8 from the plate and earn a win in 107 years.”

Sports!….I think all sports enjoy statistics because it is a way to track how well a player is doing. Most fans of any sport likes see their favorite player’s stats. …snort!… Maybe baseball has more things they keep track of then other sports. I don’t know. I do know it is a big part of baseball player’s salaries, but this is true of all the other sports too….heh!

Stover, This is only a guess, but it could be because baseball is so much more complicated than the other sports, and it an older sport. Also, the history of baseball is sacred, but that is not true of the other sports.

Ummm – we may be a few minutes late to the party. We are still waiting for the pizzas. We went to pick them up and right away noticed there wasn’t any Salmon, Possum or Dead Mouse pizza. The guy thought we were kidding.
So, now they are making the right pizzas. And the good news is they are going to give us the salami, pepperoni and shredded mozzarella ones anyway.
There’s enough pizza for everyone to have seconds, thirds, fourths etc.

I got the first book, DOG ON IT, only a few weeks ago from my aunt & uncle for my 37th birthday & have since read the first book as well as the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th books on my NOOK.
