T & G’s mom, to answer your question about Lily and Iowa – she has been riding him at the local stable for about 6 months and has fallen in love with him. You know what they say about the love affair between a young girl and her horse! Iowa is a young (4 or 5 yrs.) Appy who was for sale at the stable. The owner/manager emailed Kelly last week and told her someone was considering buying him and they were giving her a heads-up. They talked about it and decided to go for it. Lily is very involved and goes to the stable several times a week after school and then hangs out there on weekends. She is over the top with excitement.

Good morning! Mom is taking OUR iPaw to her training class again.
Barb, we are twirling, twirling, twirling for Lily. There is no love like that between a girl and her horse, no matter the age of the girl. Heh! Best wishes and congratulations to both Lily and Iowa.
We are also twirling for Sadie. Fantastic news. And good girl on therawhide too…we always hide ours in parts unknown (to anyone except she who hid it).
Ml, good advice the other day. The ‘rents do have wills, and living wills, and healthcare power of attorney.

Wills are highly recommended. Even if you don’t have a huge estate, if you have specific things you want to leave to specific people, it is good to write down your wishes. And you can do it on your own.

Oddly, Thursday is the WORST commuting day here in SoCal (and I’m delighted to have this one off).

The Thieves returned last night to be at Rick’s side. They didnt even take the time to remove their fairy wings. Pancho wrapped his tail around Rick’s wrist and Lefty did the same with the other wrist. I had to take a from but loving paw with Rick last night and I hope he knows I do it out of love. Poor guy wanted to get up, but could not. Wyatt did his best to distract Rick from wanting to get up with tales if his latest (and only) caper. At one point he started making up stories of misdeeds. Savannah refuses to leave ML, and has her tucked under the Quilt.
Our thought and prayers of comfort and peace are with Rick and ML.

LouLou: It is I who should be apologizing for your missing carry bag with the pink trim. I borrowed the bag when Rio started whining about having to walk all over the country and by the time we got to Massachusetts the pug’s odiferous emanations were blurring my vision and affecting my thought processes. When the herb kats agreed to let him stay with them for awhile, I grabbed my chance and split the smelly scene thinking of naught but my imminent escape. Hence the forgotten carry bag for which I do heartily apologize now that my wits have returned (more or less).

Dawson, Loulou is fine. Every few days she does an inventory of her things. Stuff she has that she doesn’t use. Toys that she doesn’t play with. They all have to be at the ready. She didn’t miss the carry bag until she saw the picture with Rio in it.

O’Howlers: Yikes, that is a harrowing account of the Iditarod Trail. Thanks for alerting me to keep checking that site. I like how Christian told us what he was thinking when he made certain decisions, the “rookie” mistakes he made and the emotions he was feeling at various times on the trail. Very exciting to read.

Thrones!….We are taking a chance and watching “Game of Thrones” right now. ON Demand has some special deal they do to let us watch shows my friend does not pay for all week long…grunt!… This one is on HBO and off limits – but this week we can actually watch season One….wheeze!…Normally we would not be watching this medieval show but the Hot-Shot really likes it….hmmm…Very likely there will be a lot of blood and gore. I know my friend might not find this entertaining…heh!…But I am up for it…Yes!
