Good morning. Hope Theia has a happy life from here on. Generosity of people is amazing.
Happy Good Friday and Passover. Not sure if the two have ever been on the same day before.
Off to the office for a half day. Not a pleasant day here. Started off at 50* and heading south, way south. May get down to 30* and we could see a few snow flakes. Nice rebound for the weekend, 50s tomorrow and 60* by Sunday.
Have a great day everyone. I think I will try a little retail therapy this afternoon to help get thru this gloomy day.

Bee – we are with you. Got the gist of it from the title.
Taking Callie for her Spa Day and Wonderfuffing. And when we pick her up, we will invite the Corgis to go for the ride, and then convince them to get a pedicure.
Love the Yoga Bear! Our local bears are starting to move around. We have taken the bird Feeders down to limit temptations.

Barb: Thanks for the Passover good wishes. As to you question about it coinciding with Good Friday, it does happen, although infrequently, because it requires an alignment between a lunar calendar (used in the Jewish religion) and the standard calendar that is used. Although, if you stop and think about it, it did have to happen at least once in the past.

Good point W&TDad. I believe the history is that Jesus was celebrating the Passover Supper the night before. So yes, the celebrations have coincided at least twice.
I read another version of the lead story and there was a pretty big yuck factor that was left out of this rendition. Nuff said.

Just trying to get caught up over the last few days which have been unseasonably hectic for some reason. Thoughts and prayers for Linus, good wishes for ML, and we are all in for AJ’s Iditarod run for next year. With that out of the way, and recognizing that I have been remiss in reporting on the blog’s favorite love couple, some videos and one video will follow. And last, but by no means least, Teddy has been doing some “camo” training as part of his efforts to follow in Agent 00Wookie’s pawsteps. Just how dirty can one dog get? Pretty dirty, particularly if your girls helps roll you in the mud.

BooBear, The Siber girls spent a week here before their mom collected them. I thought their mom was going to faint when I told her they were no trouble at all. I was somewhat in shock myself over their good behavior. They have a reputation at the dog park. They aren’t mean…just ornery.
No dogs for me right now, guys. I am going to be doing some traveling this summer where it is too hot to take a dog along with me. I can, though, support a few Sibers that are with
NM Husky Rescue.

Speaking of baths, Teddy tends to get a bath about every other week. He doesn’t really mind it and also enjoys get blow dryed afterwards (we refer to it as “spa day”). This is in stark contrast to Wookie, who hated baths (although blowdrying was not so bad) and as I may have mentioned previously on this here blog, Wookie was even banished from one groomer.
This brings us to today’s festivities. Zeta and her folks will be joining us later for Passover Seder and Zeta’s mom and Zeta came over earlier to help Debbie with final preparations and set up. Both dogs were a bit grimy (actually rare for Zeta) so the decision was made to try to bathe them together in our enclosed walk-in shower (this is where the dirty deed is done for Teddy). All in all, Teddy was just fine with it, although I think Zeta is probably more in Wookie’s camp when it comes to baths. The following picture (please excuse the water film on the shower door partially obscuring things) will give you sense of the festivities.

Callie is home, fluffy and extra white. Corgis are quitter when walking across floors.
Meanwhile, we spent the afternoon at the hospital with the Storyteller getting an abdominal cat scan – nothing seriously wrong, just a blood test came back a little hincky, so the doc said better safe than sorry. But it was a comedy of errors – and a LOT of hiking. LOOOONNNG walk from parking lot to cat scan lab. But they had lost his bloodwork results and needed to repeat those tests before the scan – and of course the lab is on the other side of the campus. Then back to cat scan area – then the poor guy had to drink nasty stuff every 15 minutes for 2 hours. Meanwhile, I went and did all the other errands and the shopping. All is done and over with. Results next week.
Whew – going to bed early tonight!

Day!….I think I have been Passed Over on this Good Friday!…snort!….Beau has to go on the walk and I get to stay home…heh!heh!…A little arthritic play-acting always does the trick…chuffle!
Home!…Today my friend was home and did busy stuff here instead of at the busy-place…grunt!…She and ole maw who is no help, but has to go along anyways, put down top soil and planted grass seed on a hill which is part of the landscape of my other house…sniff!…The hill has been neglected by renters. The other parts of the lawn look okay, but the hill is a special case and someone here is determined to get it looking good again this season…chuffle!

WE are so glad so many of our blog family have activities planned with members of otherwise families 🙂 Our house guest, Kyiah, went home with her “boys” and 2 legged mom just a few minutes ago. We are all lying about as though nothing had happened but we do miss the little gal.
