They Get Their Man
“Hey,” Bernie says. “The FBI caught Whitey Bulger – never thought that would happen.”
The FBI. We’ve run into them once or twice. There was Agent Pottiger, for example. Bernie said he was the best paperwork guy he’d ever seen. He was also great at ironing shirts. He asked to borrow our iron! That was fun, the search for the iron. It ended up being in the freezer. That’s the kind of thing that happens at our place on Mesquite Road.
Welcome Sailor Jerry.

It’s crunch time. I think that I’m ready to send some pictures and descriptions to Rebecca for the auction, but I need her email address. How about a little help, please?
8:51 am on June 23rd, 2011
With you there Chet!! Things end up in the weirdest places in the house.
Too bad we can’t blame the four legged members of The Pack.
I think it’s wonderful that the FBI used PSAs on so called “women’s” shows and caught Bulger! The money guys on the radio were impressed that this only cost $50,000. Wonder how much money was spent over the entire decades they’ve been looking for him.
Ya got to think, did a female agent come up with that idea?
8:52 am on June 23rd, 2011
TYB check your SDD in a minute or two!
8:59 am on June 23rd, 2011
Good Morning Melanie and Tyb!
I love the patch more every time I see it…Can’t wait to get mine!
Bernie and Chet: Yes, eventually the bad guys do get caught. Probably would have happened sooner if you guys were on the job!
Rio: So, the Rockies are coming to the House That Ruth built. Of course, I’ll have to cheer the Yankees on. Are you sure your friend won’t let you come to NY for the series? The Prof and I could pick you up at the airport….
Greetings to All!

This from the Boston Herald:
Since Cathy Greig has been on the run with Whitey for just about all of these last 16-plus years, one could ask, why did the G-Men wait until now to pay any attention to Cathy?
There’s no answer to that question. At least not one that makes any sense. Richard Teahan, the special agent in charge of the Bulger fugitive task force, did admit that gumshoes have spent (or squandered) most of their time on Bulger.
Now, apparently, it’s dawned on them that if they locate the woman who probably buys Whitey’s laxatives, wheat germ and vitamins … they might stumble upon the White Man himself.
Why they didn’t come up with stroke of genius 10 years ago you ask? Who knows.

Oh Dog . . .
Now I’m being moderated. I wonder if I take one word out . . .

O Dog, It was the APPAREL problem again.
It’s a good thing that Chet never talks about “gum . . .” detectives.
Laughing here!

What is a PSA?
Staff, I think you are right on the beer drinking/counting song. The idea is that you start at 99, and each time you take one down and drink it you have one fewer bottles on the wall. Rio’s idea is that the # goes up each time you take on down. How can that be?
9:03 am on June 23rd, 2011
I’f off to take Dan to the Dentist! Then run errands while he’s there.

Heh,heh,Interesting that one word you took out, Melanie
9:13 am on June 23rd, 2011
Hey, Melanie! I see a couple of words there, but looks like both versions did come through. Probably because you combined “that S word” with something else.
Hello Tyb, Barb&Maggie, Rose!
Have a good day all!
9:17 am on June 23rd, 2011
Quick Acronym Queen, before you go, what is a PSA? Can’t figure that one out and it is driving me crazy. It refers to his girl friend somehow. Personal _____ Assistant?
9:32 am on June 23rd, 2011
Whooo HOooo.
Good morning everyone.
The sun is shining again today…in between the clouds, but still…
Chet: I like your new friend, Sailor Jerry. He’s waaay handsome and looks very intelligent and alert.
Staff: You sang the beer song correctly. You start at 99 and subtract one every time you drink a beer. Hopefully by the time you’ve drank them, you are where you’re supposed to be.
I’m off to earn some money for the auction.
9:39 am on June 23rd, 2011
Melanie,
Thanks for your help. Fortunately, my phone was sitting beside me and I heard it buzz that your message had arrived. I say fortunately because if I had gotten the blog message first, I would have had no idea what my SDD is and would have probably called a doctor. I know what a STD is, and now I know SDD too. Thanks.
9:42 am on June 23rd, 2011
Barb – public service announcement?
And per the NY Times, Ms. Greig loves dogs!
9:43 am on June 23rd, 2011
Tyb & Macy: Check your SDDs!
Rebecca: I don’t see a “Donate” button on the new Snowhook website. Am I missing it somehow?
Wolfie: Tyb has ordered 2 patches. The count is now at 58!
9:45 am on June 23rd, 2011
Barb – PSA is Public Service Announcement.
They caught that Vhitey but vill never catch Natasha. She is not only Vorlds Best Undercover Spy. She is also most Nefarious Female!

Bottles of Beer on the Wall: Rio’s right! – the count is going up.
9:47 am on June 23rd, 2011
TYB, Fortunately for you SDD and STD are not even close!
Bluecat, Thnk you, I am sure that is right.
9:49 am on June 23rd, 2011
Bottles!….No! No! No! No!….snort!… You can’t take bottles of beer away. You take one down and pass it around (maybe) and then you keep it with all your others….sniff! ….Then one day there’s 99 bottles of beer in your warm soft bed. …heh! …You guys are all confused. …huffle!
10:10 am on June 23rd, 2011
Chet: The iron was in the freezer??? Sigh.
Good morning all.
10:10 am on June 23rd, 2011
Wolfie: Check your SDD!
10:11 am on June 23rd, 2011
Staff: I hope that Minot is not near your place in ND.
10:12 am on June 23rd, 2011
Good Morning B, Rio & Nattie!
Wolfie: Check your SDD!
10:13 am on June 23rd, 2011
No, No, No and No! Google “99 bottles of beer lyrics”, check out any of the sites, they all say start at 99, end at 0, counting DOWN.
Question here, can the Pug admit when he is wrong?
10:26 am on June 23rd, 2011
No! No! NO! NOOO!
10:32 am on June 23rd, 2011
Dag nab it -what’s going on here? I KNOW those dang beer bottles were FULL when I put th up on that cotton pickin shelf!
10:35 am on June 23rd, 2011
There are some who do the beer song backwards. They aren’t necessarily wrong…just different.
10:46 am on June 23rd, 2011
Counts!….So are we all finished counting Patch Orders?…snort!… When will the order be placed and when can we expect the Patch Company to be finished with them?….wuffle! …. Soon I hope!! I hate waiting for stuff….grunt!
10:51 am on June 23rd, 2011
Hi Bear!
Hope you have an excellent day!
10:57 am on June 23rd, 2011
OK Dawson, we will settle on “different”.
Have a new/old Tony Hillerman book to read, Sacred Clowns. After that, just 2 of his last ones and then we are done. That will be a sad day.
11:00 am on June 23rd, 2011
WOLFIES BOYS ARE HOME!!!
They have been humbled. And now they are clean and sober and are looking for jobs.
Happy Dance of Joy!!! Let’s pray that they have learned what they need to learn so that they can move forward.
11:01 am on June 23rd, 2011
The patch order is being placed today.
The nice PR lady, Amelia, thinks that production will take approx one month!
11:07 am on June 23rd, 2011
Yes, Commander Rio, the patch count is finished. With Tyb’s order of 2, the patch count now stands at 58. (58-the very number you mentioned last night in the infamous bottle count.hmm…)
11:10 am on June 23rd, 2011
Wolfie! That is the most excellent of news! Happy Heart Here.
11:11 am on June 23rd, 2011
Wolfie: That is great news about your boys. I hope they find interesting jobs. Any thoughts of college?
11:12 am on June 23rd, 2011
Wha!?….One Month?….snort!….That’s just crazy talk!
11:17 am on June 23rd, 2011
Wolfie, That is wonderful news. Hoping they continue in the right direction now, and have learned important life lessons. Also, what great parents they have.
11:36 am on June 23rd, 2011
Wolfie:
That is terrific news about your boys! I will always be thinking of them, and big hugs and love are coming at you all!
11:43 am on June 23rd, 2011
Yikes! The sky here in Westchester is pitch black, and thunder is rumbling. If I didn’t know it was 11:45am, I would think it was 11:45pm!!!
If any of you are in the path of these storms, stay safe!
11:46 am on June 23rd, 2011
Rain is coming down sideways!!!
11:50 am on June 23rd, 2011
Mom finds an occassional dog hair in our freezer, but never an iron.
Rose, They tore down the House That Ruth Built. That breaks my heart. Of all the baseball stadiums to be demolished they tore down the most historic one.
11:59 am on June 23rd, 2011
Wolfie, That is super good news about your boys. Prayers and crossed paws it goes well for your family.
Suppose to get to 100 degress here, but only with 5% humidity. That is the famous “dry heat” they talk about here. Mom doesn’t mind it nearly as much as I do, but I know high humidity could make it a lot worse.
12:16 pm on June 23rd, 2011
SH: Just to let you know–the humidity here is 78% and that’s down from the 98% earlier this morning. (Temp is 71.)
12:19 pm on June 23rd, 2011
98%! …..Wouldn’t 98% humidity be actual Rain?….grunt!…. I can’t stand heat, humidity, cold, snow, wind or rain…grump!
12:24 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Siber-H: Just for you “Waiting for the Rain”

12:29 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Siber-H: Yes, unfortunately THE house that Ruth built is gone. It makes me very sad too. Such an iconic stadium. I was fortunate enough to have taken in some games in the original stadium (the ONE and ONLY Yankee Stadium for me). I guess us New Yorkers find it hard to let things go. We still refer to the new stadium that way because I guess the term is universally understood as being Yankee Stadium.
12:39 pm on June 23rd, 2011
And a cool view for all of you – in the rain & in the heat – drip your toes in the water and take a long walk on the beach.

12:42 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Thanks Bear, That is exactly what people are doing here…waiting on the summer monsoon. The latest from the alleged weather experts is that they don’t know when the rains will come.
Rose, I’mm glad that they still call Yankee Stadium, The House that Ruth Built. We are not very good at letting things go either.
1:09 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Rio: That’s a good question. I think that rain and humidity are different but I’d have to check it out. It’s overcast here but not yet raining. Thunderstorms are in the forecast. However, we can also get high humidity when it’s sunny.
Great pictures Bear.
1:17 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Greetings all –
Siber, don’t ya love it when people say, “oh, its not so bad in the desert…at least its a DRY heat”. Mama feels the need to remind those people that dry heat is exactly how you bake a potato too.
Meanwhile, its raining here…..again. Or should we say still. sigh
Wolfie, all paws, toes, and eyes crossed for a happy, sober and successful future for your boys. We know your heart is dancing.
1:23 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Thanks for the photos, Bear, and TYB, nice to see you back on the blog. Stick around, buddy!
Off to work. Cold and overcast here, so not a good day to be sitting outside anyway. Have a good afternoon, everyone. BBL
1:26 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Mom is working on our now repaired computer getting the programs and data restored. We’ve been following the blog on our iPhone, but posting or writing email has been too hard to do on that tiny screen.
This afternoon we go to our friend’s house where there is no wifi so I’m back to using the iPhone. We’ll be back on Monday if I can hang on that long.
1:42 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Rose & Siber-H: I remember them tearing down the old Yankee stadium. But, wasn’t the new one built because of owner politics? Memory failing me here…
We agree with you, Siber-H, not easily to let some things go.
1:49 pm on June 23rd, 2011
uh, that should be.. not easy.
1:50 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Masquers:
Money is the root of all evil. In my opinion, the new stadium was built to ensure that these million dollar player contracts are paid for. Unfortunately, that cost has been passed on to the fans. If I wanted to go to a game, I could not even afford a bleacher seat.
2:07 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Rose!….All that tells me is the Yankees organization doesn’t give a Crap about their fans…grunt!….I’m happy to see the Boston Red Sox in the Division lead right now over the Yankees. And that is saying a lot because of our history with the Red Sox…grunt!
2:13 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Rio! You been drinkin my beer???
2:23 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Burp!…Nope Redbone, not me!…gurgle!

Are the Salad with Strawberries and Poppy Seed dressing from Sam or Mollypop?
Who is the author of the Support Staff Salad?
Who is the author of the Vorld’s Best Corn Chowder (Natasha)?
2:34 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Is the Gorgonzola Cheeseburgers with Pancetta from Sam or Mollypop?
2:36 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Rose: I have heard the top selling seats have been abandoned by their owners. This has caused embarrassment for team owners during high profile games; even though the rest of the stadium is sold out the cameras are focused on the empty seats behind home plate.
2:46 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Rio: During construction of the new stadium, a construction worker & avid Red Sox fan, buried a replica jersey of Red Sox player, David Ortiz underneath the visitor’s dugout with the objective of placing a “hex” on the Yankees; much like the “Curse of the Bambino” that had plagued the Red Sox long after trading Ruth to the Yankees. The worker was exposed and forced to help exhume the jersey. He has since claimed to have buried a 2004 American League Championship program/score card, but has not said where he placed it.
2:48 pm on June 23rd, 2011
B. – The cheesecake is from me, the salad and cheeseburgers are from Sam.
2:50 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Bee – the Support Staff Salad was from our dinner party. It was designed especially for Staff’s special dietary requirements. The Corn Chowder was ours also as a tribute to our Nefarious cohort. It is ok with us if you want to attribute that “von” to her
3:06 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Rio, Ubaldo is pitching tomorrow night. I’m having mom get me extra chew strips just in case.
You guys are doing me in. I have to go find some lunch.
3:08 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Maskers!…. You are so cool!…snort!,…What a Kool Kat for knowing that kind of stuff. …heh!snort!…burp! …64 bottles of beer on the waawl!
3:12 pm on June 23rd, 2011
BlueCat is right.
BSD that is just darn cruel putting that picture up!
I’m now off for tea with an English couple.
Let’s see, I’ve got my hat (baseball cap with a Newf on it)
and my gloves (work gloves)
Yup! Already to go!
3:18 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Have fun at your tea Melanie. Will it be “high” tea?
Okay–thanks Mollypop.
T&G: I’m going to give Natasha credit for the corn chowder so that she can be listed as a contributor.
3:22 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Masquers:
You are a font of information! I like that! I like knowing all bits of interesting history and trivia myself. I heard about the jersey, but not about the program. Perhaps that is why the Yankees have had such a hard time with Boston this year.
Rio: You are right about the organization not caring about the fans. Let’s see what happens this weekend with the Rockies…
BTW: Will your friend let you come to NY? Will she, huh, will she? We could sit in the comfort of my home and watch the series together. If you fall asleep and snore, that would be okay. The Prof snores loudly all night, so I’m used to it!
3:32 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Rose!…It depends….sniff!….How many bottles of beer on the wall do you have? And when you say “comfort”, explain to me exactly what this is…snorkel!
4:24 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Bee, I was just taking a break at work and saw your questions. See that you already got your answers. I made the Poppy Seed dressing and it was excellent. Sorry about the confusion there. I see that I did not do a very good job of telling you who submitted the recipes.
We never did get a recipe from Chet, Spence and the gang. Do you think they would submit something? I think that would be sort of a special touch. How about a rib recipe from Dry Gulch?
Or some (whispering) curried goat?
4:24 pm on June 23rd, 2011
I’ve finished Soups and Salads. There are Main Courses, Desserts and Misc. to go. (About half way done with the cookbook.)
4:28 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Rose said money is the root of all evil, and that reminded me…I am reading Sacred Clowns by Hillerman, and he says that material wealth is of very low importance in the Navajo culture. In fact they consider it sinful to be obtaining material things if you have family members who are needy.
4:50 pm on June 23rd, 2011
It would be great if Spence gave us a recipe to include in the cookbook.
Barb: You did an excellent job. The only problem I’m having is that I want to make each recipe as I’m reading/typing. I’m starving!
4:54 pm on June 23rd, 2011
That is good advice from Hillerman. We are our Brothers Keeper.
4:55 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Cookbook! Chet, are you listening? How about some slim jims?
4:59 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Dawson! How cool! I just saw you with Friends of Chet.
5:29 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Dear BStover,
No Minot is way west and north of us. We are about in the middle of the state and on the east (Red River side). If Fargo ever gets the diversion plan going that they want then we will be flooding I bet.
I am so glad that Tyb got his patches ordered.
54 bottles of beer (hic) on the wallllll…..
5:47 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Chet!… How come no one ever sees me on top of Chet’s page?….grump!….I’ve probably been banned and that’s why I will never win the Friend of The Month prize….sniffle! snot! sneeze!
6:01 pm on June 23rd, 2011
I’ve seen you there Rio. With Spence and with Wookie and all by your little lonesome self.
Well, I have to go back and read some more of A Pug’s Tale. BBL
6:29 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Rio:
I see you now on the Friends of Chet.
Bottles of beer: Unlimited. Counting not necessary.
Comfort: Whatever you require. Nice comfy leather couch, my lap, anything.
Snacks: Yummy!
6:30 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Me too!
I’ve seen you there lots. I’ve never seen me up there.
Rain!
I get off work and fifteen minutes later it starts pouring. We’re going to get some thunder and lightning tonite.
Hungry!
B.Stover is making me ravenous!
6:34 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Rio – we’ll give you four guesses as to why your picture never appears up there, and why you will never, ever in 56 bottles of beer win a signed copy of the book.
And just to make it easy, here are four multiple choice answers – you can pick which ever your little pug heart desires.
1. Basil and Sage
2. Alice M.Johnson
3. Maurauding Goats
4. Any combination of the above.
(giggle)

A very rare Dawson sighting – that’s why your picture on Friends of Chet was so special!
6:59 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Masquers: Once in awhile I browse Chet’s Friends to make sure I’m still there.
Basil and Sage: Just so you know…Rio already has won a signed, paw printed copy of…one of the books (I forget which one).
8:06 pm on June 23rd, 2011
oooh, the house that RUTH built. That took a while to work out.
Wolfie, such great news about your boys! you’ve been so brave all this time.
Now have to google Whitey Bulger…
8:10 pm on June 23rd, 2011
I’M BAAACCCKKK!
The town is now going to get the vacuum tanker for the Fire Department. We also are fixing the Library steps and stucco, moved some money to the road department to fix pot holes. Then the assessors wanted to discontinue personal property taxes up to $10,000. That’s farm equipment, horses, extra cars that aren’t registered. They said they didn’t want to be policemen.
Sooooo, that took up more time than all the other Articles combined. The assessors were astounded that the town people decided to keep only $5,000 and below as excused. Anything higher will still have taxes.
Seems the assessors didn’t think about the fact to make up the difference it would increase the property tax.
Hmmmmm.
Someone who’ve I been communicating with today needs to check their SDD.
8:20 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Wolfie Wigglebutt from the Wild Wild West: Your news today is wonderful! I’m so happy for you that your boys are back, clean and sober and ready to take on life. Fantastic!

Banned!…Hey, I’m not banned after all!…heh!… I just saw a photo of my and my pal Wookie in our 4th of July ties up above….snort!snort!
Disturbed!…My friend is disturbed and grumpy tonight because of someone at the busy place and their bullcrap…snort!… She says there is a Rat in the Henhouse and she’d really like to figure out a way to get rid of it…grunt!…I tried to tell her that I knew someone who could take care of the situation for her, but she never listens to me….sniff!…She just thinks I’m begging when I try to talk to her…huffle!
8:50 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Riö, just look in your friend’s eyes and thing “Mollypop . . . Mollypop . . .Mollypop”
She’s understand . . . or she’s start sing a song, or she might get hungry.
Humans, who can tell?
Does anyone else have Town Meetings where everything is decided or is that just the Northeast?
Off to bed!!
For Whitey Bulger . . .
He’ll be . . .
Breakin’ rocks in the hot sun
He fought the law and the law won.
He fought the law and the law won.

Meeting!… We here thought they only did those quirky town meetings on Gilmore Girls …snort!…. It was set in Connecticut…hmmmm!
8:55 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Well, damit! It was 5:55 here.
9:03 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Well, There are the town meetings in NM where not much of anything ever gets done. This is the State of tomorrow and tomorrow never comes…why do today what you can put off for eternity.
9:25 pm on June 23rd, 2011
SiberH!….Have you ever considered moving to Colorado?…snort!…We could be neighbors then…snuffle! …I could go to the park and watch you run…sniff!
9:38 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Hello and Good Night to all.
Something to ponder first…Whitey Bulger…any relation to Whitey-Lance? We sure hope not. That Bulger dude stayed unfound for way too long. We don’t need Whitey going unfound again.
As for the Bad Whitey, we like picturing him breaking rocks in the hot sun…in an orange jumpsuit.
9:39 pm on June 23rd, 2011
I just watched the Monk episode about Monk and his assistant pretending to be married so that they could catch the bad guy….and find gold that had been stolen last century. The thief had melted down the gold and used it as the ink he used to write hundreds of journals. Interesting.
9:47 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Rio, if it were possible, mom would move to Colorado in a heartbeat. It is her favorite state…she loves the desert and New Mexico and Arizona, but she loves Colorado best.
I know I would love living in Colorado It is cooler and it has that white stuff called, SNOW!!
There also must be more responsible pet owners (hate that term) in Colorado than NM. Animal rescue volunteers in NM drive shelter pets up to Colorado so they will get adopted.
10:00 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Whitey and his SO lived in the same place in CA for 15 years before they caught him. Now is 80 or 81, so I don’t think he will be spending a lot of time breaking rocks in the hot sun. One lady in Boston said, “So he’s a mobster, everyone has to have an occupation.” Funny I thought. Anyway I don’t think he was a big threat to society any more. Plus I heard his girl friend is a big dog lover, so she can’t be all bad.
I think Rio’s friend was talking about a different kind of rat in the henhouse. I think she meant the 2 legged kind. Those are worse.
10:09 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Siber, don’t they get adopted in NM?
10:19 pm on June 23rd, 2011
Twirling!…. Boy, you should see her twirling paper bits tonight. She’s going a mile a minute. Something about this hobby seems to calm her down when she is upset.….gulp!… I’m just keeping my tail a healthy distance away from her tonight….yeep!

Barb & Maggie: So, does that mean Mr Bulger “retired” at 65?

Twirling…dancing…happy, happy Corgi dance….
Mama is SO happy. She just had her first lesson with Andrew Quient the potter. It was fantastic, and fabulous and fun and wonderful and informative and creative and inspiring and …..
just all good stuff. She is euphoric, and wants to go get out her clay RIGHT NOW and get to work. Only its 10:30 at night, and she has to be up early (whispering-for a job interview) and then off to work for the Crazy Lady.
So the clay will have to wait til tomorrow, but she is still twirling and dancing……

Another hi/bye from me again, but:
Wolfie: I’m thrilled your boys are doing better and I hope for their continued recovery.
TandG: I’d say get out in the clay if you’re feeling inspired, but I better tell you good luck tomorrow!
Melanie: Townhall meetings in our area are legendary—there are somethings you can’t make up.
Back to work for me—I’d rather be twirling, twirling, twirling…

Tupper and Gilly: That’s great that your mum is so happy. What excellent “good stuff” that potter must be teaching her.

Happy dreams for the Royal Mum tonight!
It was a very good day for you. Dance on!

Liz, We just have too many dogs and cats in shelters here…a big pet over-population problem. Yes, they do get adopted in NM, but there are not enough forever homes for them. More animals than ever before are being adopted from shelters in this state, but it is an uphill struggle for all the dedicated people working to find good homes for these guys.

T & G We are happy for your mama for so many things tonight.
Good luck tomorrow with the job interview, and glad the class with AQ went so well.
Masquers, yes I bet he had been in retirement for these last 15 years, although not sure if he was on social security. Did he have a secondary occupation, so he could collect benefits? They said there were guns in the apartment and a big pile of cash. Must of been from cashing his SS checks. Girl friend wasn’t old enough.
We are off to read some Hillerman, and then to bed. Sweet dreams.

SH, how sad. So you have more than average numbers of pets in shelters? more than other states, I mean? It’s always depressing not to be able to have lots of rescue dogs. I haven’t been able to catch up with the blog much lately, did Dawson the doggie find a new home?

Old guys and guns. a scary thought.
Time to curl up with a good tale myself.

A quick hello to Liz! The Howlers have the info on Dawson, the Siber up for adoption. Perhaps they can give us an update.

On a more serious note, old Bolger was a BAD guy. They interviewed people who had family members murdered by or at the direction of Whitey….that seriously changes any image of this poor old 81 year old in his “golden” years. One woman talked about him having a store back in the old days, and he would let people take things home “on credit” if they didn’t have the money – but then he would come back to them for return favors – and the favors were not negotiable, and often involved criminal activity. Interestingly enough, Whitey’s brother William was the president of UMass, right here in our backyard.
Interesting how siblings can be so different.
As for Whitey, we’re all for that orange jumpsuit and breaking rocks in the hot sun.

Hi Masquers! Thanks. Maybe the Howlers have some news.
THanks T&G for saving me from google research!

We’re going to bed, Mama is off to dream of clay pots and casts and stamps and coils and slabs. Well you all get the picture.
G’night all.

Liz, I would say we have a worse problem than some of the other states. Colorado is doing much better than we are, for instance.
Good question about, Dawson, the husky. OleyHowlers will have to let us know about him. It may take awhile for the right person to come along for him, but when the time is right, that person will show up.
Good Luck tomorrow, T&G’s mom!!!
I am twirling myself off to sleep.
Night All

Dear Wolfie.
Such good news about your boys. Here is a prayer that they have learned the lesson they needed. It is just wonderful to hear they have gone straight.
Tupper and Gilly, How great that you are loving your lessons with AG. I hope your creativity is pop pop popping still tomorrow!

Hey Liz,
I am still up. I have been working on an ad for our quilt clubs annual raffle quilt. That means I am in and out. How’s things in Australia tonight? We have had two days of gentle rain.

Rain! how nice! We’re finally warming up a bit during the days, very sunny today although frosty and foggy this morning. How’s the quilt going?

The things they say call at your interest while in the work you are submitting. The arena wants extra enthusiastic copy writers just like you exactly who are certainly not reluctant to say that they believe that. Constantly focus on your center.

Sweet blog! I found it while searching on Yahoo News.
Do you have any suggestions on how to get listed in Yahoo
News? I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem
to get there! Thank you

My business is actually impressed as well as your producing talents and in addition using the arrangement to your blog site. Is this fact your settled subject matter or maybe have you personalize it all by yourself? In any event keep up to date the nice good quality writing, it’s extraordinary to appear a good site just like it now.
