How exciting! We're soo jealous of you all – the distributers here in Australia haven't managed to print it yet! In the meantime, we look forward to hearing how great it is 🙂

I have to step in and take the laptop away from the dog. She spends too much time on it anyway.
Your book was on my Kindle when I got up this morning!

CONGRATULATIONS!!
We're waiting for delivery from Amazon. Who gets to read it first? The one who wins the race to the front door when it arrives.

Mom is headed to our local Borders this afternoon – she'll get to read it first 'cause I won't be going in the car(shivers). Then I'll get to hear your new adventures tonight – can't wait!
Abbie – I agree, your stair picture is much more dignified, amazing what our humans (or staff) think is amusing!

Awesome! I can't wait!
Poor Cosmo. are you afraid of the car? Or is it just too cold?
8:16 am on January 5th, 2010
Yippie! I now have the book in my paws. I'll be reading it today with only time out for the dog park and maybe a nap. We love the book jacket-Chet and Bernie in Monument Valley and Chet's nose on the back cover.

Hi Rebecca, It is cold, but I have to admitt I am a bit afraid of the car. I shake and drool and get carsick too. Just thinking about it makes me want to curl up and hide! Mom gives me some crystalized ginger which I hate to chew 'cause it's so gummy – but it seems to help – thanks for asking and enjoy the book!

Hey, Everyone. You guys are too much. I will break down to buy the book, since there is no way I can wait for a library copy. Someday, when I find money in my budget, I'll get a Kindle. That will be fun. I can still go to the library for the 'page turning' feel.
Cosmo, wear your cute red sweater. It won't be as cold. We'll eventually get dense artic-like air in NY. brrrr. Some of you probably have it already. Citrus in FL is in danger. 🙁

P.S. Welcome back to The Valley, Chet and Bernie, and Suzie, too.

Yup!
I bought my copy this morning (which Rebecca can read first)…. because I think I'm first on the reserve list at the library….
yippeeee!

I can't wait to hear what everyone thinks about THAT.

Me again..Awww. Cute Cosmo. So snuggled up.
Miss Abby used to drool in the car a lot, but she has stopped that. Drooled terribly when I was driving her to our house from her foster Mom's house. For about a year longer, she would drool whenever we took her home for the weekend, and my hubby had to leave the car for a moment. I always had a roll of paper towels in the car.
Thank goodness she is well adjusted.
On another matter…I JUST DID IT!!!!! Couldn't help myself. Thereby Hangs a Tail on order from Barnes & Noble. I just crumbled under the pressure. 🙂

My mom got the book first!! She's reading as fast as she can. Loves it but won't tell me anything . . .
I wonder if I can flinch it from her hands when she goes to sleep.

The book just arrived at our house. The staff's husband went out and picked it up for her. The special order was in at the little bookstore in our neighborhood.
She is now ignoring me….hummmph!

Hey everyone. My dad picked it up at Barnes & Noble earlier today, and he will start reading it aloud to my mom tonight. That is how we read Dog-On-It too; it works for me because I otherwise have trouble turning the pages with my paws.
And Cosmo. I really like you a lot. Those are great photos. I would like to post some of my own, but my dad is a bit internet impaired and hasn't figured out how to do it yet. I keep trying to coach him though.
Also, I think once you are a little older, you will like riding in the car a lot. It's one of my favorite things — sitting shotgun of course, just like Chet. And sticking my head out the window and taking in the breeze and all those incredible smells. Also, whenever I want to stick my head out, I just look at my dad and then press my nose to the window and — presto — it goes down. I call it magic window, a feature that all cars should come with. All the best from Chevy Chase and happy reading everybody. Your pal, Wookie.

Nabbed it at B&N this morning. Went to Borders first, since it's closer to home, but they didn't have it (their computer said Not In Store…aarrrghh!) But I'm all over it like Chet on a perp's pant leg.

Oh Chet, so looking forward to the new book – I've been hanging out for another Chet and Bernie fix since reading Dog On It. Sadly things take a little longer to reach Australia, but I'm waiting not so patiently.

Just gets better! Can't wait for book three to see what "me and Bernie" will get up to next. Well done for both "the nation" and the "nation within the nation."
