Snickering here . . . the paint guys are here. They have finished the repairs to most of the house and are painting the front of the house today. They don’t seem to know that I can here them. I’m not really paying attention because I’m doing some computer work, but at one point they were knocking off some old paint and the Pack when WILD!! Good morning.
I had an interesting morning already. I was up at 6:30 because I was really hungry and had a headache and couldn’t sleep anymore.
My niece says it is called being ‘Hangry’)
So I got up and made a lovely omelet and toast and decided to replace the peanut butter/suet for the birds since they ran out yesterday. I put the peanut butter and lard in the microwave to melt. The recipe says 3 minutes. It doesn’t say do not use a cheap plastic bowl. Darn!
It is amazing the mess that peanut butter and lard and melted plastic can make in a microwave and on your just cleaned runners when you take it out of the microwave to get a good look at the black gunk in the middle of the bowl.
There are times when the inability to distinguish smells is a strong liability.

We had unexpected company (friends from out of state) because of a death in their family. They found a motel this morning that would take their dog. They had to bring their dog with them because she is a bit, umm, neurotic. Not all motels or family members welcome dogs, but they knew she was welcome here.

Oh You Guys!! This is a miracle! I just downloaded two short stores on my Kindle.
My Kindle came already registered and set up for me. They even had Mountain Daylight Time put in it. I am very happy with Amazon.

I started yoga 3 weeks ago. I have sllllllooooowwwwlllllyyy gotten up to 2 different poses. The first day I did them I had to use a cane for 2 days. I started my third pose today. Hopefully, I’ll be able to walk tomorrow.

Mollys Mom has kinda been knocked flat for a couple of days. She’s still new at this gluten free stuff. If something bothers ones body for a while, the body masks the symptoms somewhat. Once the offender is removed, the body clears. If it is reintroduced there will be a big reaction. We think Molly’s Mom got into gluten. Melanie has told us how it hides everywhere.

Barb forgot about all the junk in the attic, so today she and Kim spent the day dragging everything down and throwing much of it out. 4 garbage cans out at the road, and two very tired gals. Thank Dog for Kim.
Stress level is way down today. The missing appraisal finally showed up, 5 days late, so now we are on track for the closing on the 17th. Barb says never again! Moving Sucks!

it’s that hidden gluten . . Many things you wouldn’t think of have wheat or flours with gluten in it. My last Katastrophy was stuffed olives. They were stuffed with cream cheese. Sounds nuts right?
BUT, to make the cream cheese spread go further they added flour. I had 1 ONE olive and was out for quite a while.
Also have to be carefully of “modified” things or “carmel” coloring.
No wonder I don’t have any brain power! I have to read EVERYTHING I eat!
I have stopped pouting. Patsy made me. She said I needed to be home with her and to give her tummies and ear scratches and bon bons.

MPM: I was recently put on a grain free diet myself. They—those people at the vet’s office, even the ones who sit at the computers—called it a lifestyle change. I liked my lifestyle before and had no intentions if changing unless that meant more time on the couch or sitting shotgun in the dog truck I never knew how wonderful grain tasted it until I couldn’t have it any more. AJ and my lady say I might like grain, but it doesn’t like me. If it is the same with you an gluten, my condolences.

Hey, y’all! Mom got a call today at work because my boy’s dogs are starting to itch and he can’t afford flea stuff this month — poor, poor college student! So Mom had to meet him at the pet supply place so she could buy some flea stuff for Molly and Winston — do you remember my pug cousins? Anyway, the good news is that while she was at the pet place she got me some treats! So I guess the treat budget isn’t entirely gone yet! Of course, she also bought the kats some toys, but no toys for me. 🙁
