7,9 earthquake in Gulf of Alaska at 12.32 am. Felt in Anchorage even though epicenter 330 miles away. I was so tired, I knew it was a big earthquake and It went on just long enough to wonder if I should get up. No reports of damage but Kodak residents all headed up a mountain due to concern about tsunami.

OMD! Earthquakes and Tsunamis. What a start to the Day!
CHobbitz: Glad you are back in Anchorage with the Fur Faces and the Quake Epicenter was Far Away.
Dawson! You were our Early Warning last night.
We like the Review by the way.

Dawson, CHobbitz, BSD and everyone, a good day to all. We liked the review but didn’t see the tsunami until early this a.m.’ About the same time we saw that the warning was cancelled.
Hope all are having a tremendous Tuesday.

It is possible I was suspected of being gassy rather than an earthquake when the earth started to shake, rattle and roll? Now, when any one says,’this may be the big one,’ I will have to wonder if they are referring to me or to an earthquake.
On an unrelated note, I could go for a case o’ Slim Jims right now.

I think everyone is safe and sound which is the best kind of earthquake to have. Alaska is so vast and unpopulated that an earthquakes 6 miles under water 330 miles away will cause little damage. It the epicenter had been on land, I and my house would have felt it much more.
It snowed to beat the band today. Maybe Bee can look up the origin of that phrase. It stopped pretty much late afternoon so I was able to shovel. The snow was the nice and fluffy kind so was easy to take care of it.
When I was in Fairbanks, it was -25 on Sunday. I love Fairbanks but hated the cold. Actually everyone was talking about how nice the winter has been, very little severally cold days.
Everyone sleep tight and I’ll check in tomorrow
