I miss the original art work of the C&B books, but of the new covers, I like this one the best.

Looking forward to my wonder-fluffing today.

    Good day to all!

I find it interesting that they are both sitting down.

    Good day to all.

I like it! Of course, Mom and I have been fans of the new artwork as well as the original. Plus like the representation of Chet!!

The cover is great! Chet may not be upright but he looks alert and professional. (I look back on all the covers with nostalgia now. Poor Spence weathered a lot of criticism about them through the years)

Sniff…if you like this cover, just wait until you get to the April calendar page.

I was snuggling with the Attendant in the big bed this morning. Usually she takes the hint and gets up and makes me breakfast. This time even after two visits from me to the big bed, Attendant was being lazy. I moved away and decided to take a nap myself. Lo and behold, the next thing I knew, Attendant was serving moi breakfast in bed! She has upped her game and I am here for it! The only thing that would have made it better was if it were salmon or baked chicken.

I did laze in bed this morning. When I finally got up and did my morning ablutions and got dressed, I noticed that Mr. Big was on the big bed and not moving. I went into the kitchen and served Sadie and Chessie their breakfasts but Mr. Big didn’t come. Fearing the worse, I made my way to the big bed and put the cat food under his nose.

I do have salmon and chicken but fear I would be creating a monster. I don’t mind spoiling my animals but I think serving breakfast in the big bed is a step too far…way too far.

Nice. They keep the denim pants and boots pretty consistent but of course, anyone could model them. The photoshop on the ear is pretty consistent too.

I like these covers. Diana’s Dad was a very, VERY large black German Shepherd. The DNA says East Germany or that area. I’ve looked at photos. They are working dogs. None of that slinking back end. They hold their butts and their tails high. They are working dogs, herding whatever needs herding.

Her Dad must have been huge as she is 100lbs. The GSD is about 33%, the Golden Retriever 25%, 10% Am. Staff. Terrier and the rest parts of Am Pit Bull, Collie, Am Bully and even a smidge of Rottweiler.

I saw a huge GSD at the dog park. He was about 110lb. Not her Dad but I can see what he might look like, only black. According to Embark a rare and ancient strain of DNA found in GSD from eastern Europe.

I look at that illustration and I see so much of Diana. Not the ears, hers are more like a Golden. But the big paws, the alert sitting or laying and the eyes. Except she has one brown and one golden. But the mouth and the coat are hers.

She does have a white chest almost in the shape of a flying bird. And white paws.

She is Diana pawPrints, the Wonder Puppy. (who is afraid of mice.) Oh, and Diana does not jump. She hates jumping. Almost as much as she hates cats….and mice.
