Talking Politics

Bernie’s doing whatever he does on the computer. He glances up and says, “Looks like Obama’s going to have trouble with the Blue Dogs.”

Whoa. Stop right there. Blue dogs? There’s Mitzy, a poodle over in Pottsdale who’s kind of bluish under a certain light, but other than that I can’t think of any other blue dogs, and I can’t imagine Obama having trouble with Mitzy. And if he did, wouldn’t Bo protect him?

My takeaway? It’s not easy being president. With all our ups and downs, running a detective agency is better.

Chet – If the blue dogs were actual dogs, we'd be OK – but they are just people who are prone to goofing up (instead of just acting goofy – which is OK in my book.)

Politics is a stinky business. It's obvious that the Blue Dogs don't have the nose to work in a detective agency…

Politics always reminds me of a song…

Is it cool to go to sleep on the floor,

'Cause I don't think that I can take anymore

Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right,

Here I am, stuck in the middle with you.

I have blue eyes. Drives the girls wild.

One of the many wonderful things about being a memeber of the nation within a nation is that we don't "do" politics.

If you google dyed dogs, you can find blue dogs. We think they look like aliens.

Guys, can anyone give me some tips on how to upload my photo? I've tried 3 times and all that shows is a link. My human friend says some pugs should not be allowed to go near computers. hmmphf!

Hey, Rio – is it within the size limitation? That's all I can think of, in fact even more. Can't wait to see the pic.

Chet! I double checked and my jpeg file is only 272 KB. I thought for sure that was small enough. The link(s) work. Can't figure out why the photo of me doesn't show. My human friend says it's because I am to evil to be seen on Chets page. grrrrr!

No one here seems to know, and the tech guy is only available when we're all asleep. But we were able to view the pic and – it's great! Rio reminds everybody here of some old movie star – of the bad-guy kind – but the name won't come.

Gus and BooBear, you're so pretty! And Rio, you look just like your name! I need to get you guys a picture of Wojo– but right now the only one I have on my computer is old and not very good… Hmmm… Where's the camera?

Siberian Husky, you mentioned yesterday that you can eat while running. The closest I can come to that is that sometimes I eat while driving. Not really the same thing. Dogs are so talented!

I've been having trouble too. I think Obama is great, but loyalty is part of my DNA.

I will try to send a picture.

Can't trust anyone whose blue…you guys stick with what you do best, catching perps! Hey Rio, glad you finally got that picture up, you don't look evil at all, I bet you've got a heart of gold. How can you help it if your pack doesn't meet your needs? Gus and Boo Bear, you are beautiful felines! Abbie, thanks for thinking of me yesterday – I've thought about you too, how eventhough I'm a dog and you're a cat, we both have exactly the same tri-color, hmmmm.

    Tailwags guys!

    Gus and BooBear,

Wow I am impressed. Up till now I thought I was the prettiest cat on the blog. But I have to say that Gus is the leader now. I have always been partial to that wonderful swirly type of marking. And BooBear I can tell you are a charmer. It just shows.

Rio! Wow! Great picture! You don't look evil to me. Maybe just a little sly?

Thanks, guys for the compliments. Mom and Dad think we're pretty special, but we sure don't have the "camera savvy" that Abbie has. Abbie, you definitely have that diva look.

Melanie, do you raise Newfs? Mom wants one SO BAD !!! She says that if we end up moving up north, she is definitely getting one, probably from one of those breed rescue groups. We (and Dad) aren't so sure about that. He would have to realize that cats rule in our household. But we would love to meet Chet !!

Also, we still haven't received our business cards and we sent our request in on day 1. Chet, should we resend our request?

This is actually my very first visit here, definitely a attractive looking blog. I found numerous useful things within your website particularly it’s discussion. From the many responses in your posts, it seems like this is really a extremely popular blog. Continue the nice work.
