Sundays With Ingrid
“It might help,” said Jill Monteiro, sitting on the auditorium stage at Echo Falls High, feet dangling over the edge, “if we shared an understanding of what this scene’s all about.”
Silence from the cast—Stacy, Mia, Brucie, Joey, Ingrid—all of them sitting with their feet dangling too. Somehow Brucie’s sneaker fell off, landing with a loud smack. Brucie had big feet for his size.
“Brucie?” said Ms. Monteiro.
“Yeah?”
“Any ideas?”
“Sure,” said Brucie. “How about a car that washes itself?”
Stacy jabbed him in the arm, hard.
“Ow,” said Brucie.
“Retard,” said Stacy.
He batted his eyes at her, like he was in love.
“Joey?” Jill said.
Joey, sitting next to Ingrid, gazed down at his script. “Scene?” he said, like it was a foreign word or something.
“This little episode,” said Jill. “When the four travelers finally meet the wizard they’ve been seeking. What ends up happening?”
Joey’s eyes stayed on the script, but he couldn’t have been getting any help from that, because it was turned to the title page and just said Wizard. “Ends up happening,” he mumbled to himself.
“Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain, dudes,” said Brucie.
“Joey?” Jill said.
Joey took a deep breath. “They find out he’s a con man.”
Jill clapped her hands together. “Exactly.”
Joey looked up, a surprised and slightly pleased expression on his face. A great expression, in Ingrid’s view.
“The wizard is a con man, as Joey says,” said Jill. “This is where we get to see what’s behind the curtain, the way things really are. And when we do, there’s another surprise.”
“What was the first one again?” said Brucie.
They all ignored him, including Jill, a fast learner. “Anyone?” she said.
Blank looks, except for Mia. “Even though the wizard’s a fake,” she said, “he ends up giving them what they want anyway.”
Wow. Mia was so smart.
Then Ingrid got a little idea of her own. “Except for Dorothy,” she said.
Jill smiled. “Now we’re ready,” she said. “Let’s put on a play.”
Was there anything like the theater? Not even close.

Barb, I'm sending my prayers to you. MagPie! I know you will take good care of her.
3:55 am on November 14th, 2010
Chet, Bernie, SQ/PA and Admin, Thanks for thinking of us. We are calm and ready to go tomorrow. Everyone's caring words help a lot.
We have read all 3 Ingrid books and love them. Have reread the first 2 and are just starting Into the Dark. They are just as good the 2nd time. Ingrid reminds us a little of Chet at times.
4:02 am on November 14th, 2010
Morning everybody! Getting the books sometime today, maybe. Can't wait!
4:28 am on November 14th, 2010
Good morning Chet and Ingrid and everyone.
Barb: I hope you didn't get the snow that I'm seeing on the Weather Channel.
Hi Sam and Lexi!
4:32 am on November 14th, 2010
Good Morning All from the Scarecrow who loves Ingrid.
Barb: I think you should have a Hot Fudge Sundae! Just to get ready for tomorrow! How do you feel about lobster? The Pack loves both. They would send some but everything we get it all together, they eat it.
4:47 am on November 14th, 2010
Melanie, Love lobster, love hot fudge sundaes! Have to stop at the store later (after you know who goes you know where). Maybe I will pick up the makings for the HFS. With Spanish peanuts, yum!
The B & B where Magie goes offers an optional ice cream cone treat, so I think she deserves that, too. No nuts, and no hot fudge, of course.
6:22 am on November 14th, 2010
Lexi!…I doubt you will be receiving any mail today, unless you mean you are going to the bookstore, or library to get those Ingrid books…heh!
Avatar!…Lesson 1, the only one you will need….snort!
Go to this website http://www.gravatar.com
Look for the “Get your gravatar today” link.
Press it and follow the simple directions given…grunt!

Good morning,
Just doing a little blog reading to lower my Blood Pressure. Heh,
Works every time. Thanks Chet!
6:50 am on November 14th, 2010
Staff!…Thanks for adding so much to the discussion….grump!
6:55 am on November 14th, 2010
Hey Staff and Rio.
Where is Macy?
7:15 am on November 14th, 2010
Macy who?…snort!
7:34 am on November 14th, 2010
Rio: A new episode of Luther is on tonight at 10PM here. I haven't watched the third episode yet so I may do that before tonight's episode….if I can stay up that long.
7:40 am on November 14th, 2010
Stover, I have the same question…I have missed Macy.
Sam, How is your girl doing? Much better I hope.
8:00 am on November 14th, 2010
Siber-H – My girl is now fine. Just when she reached the point we had set for calling the doctor, she started to feel better. She was sick for 24 hours. Food poisoning is very painful.
8:00 am on November 14th, 2010
When was the last time we heard from Macy?
Rio, you comment to Staff was too funny!
Barb just heard from some family friends back in the burbs who have a 9 yr old and 15yr old. Mom is high strung and doesn't like my kind (afraid actually). It is always high drama when they come to visit once or twice a year. They asked Barb if she would like company today for moral support. She said NOOO!!
Barb is pretty well packed and ready to go. Spending some quiet time reading Into the Dark. Forgot that Piggy likes Slim Jims too. Wonder if they are a personal favorite of Mr. A.
8:01 am on November 14th, 2010
B, how are you feeling? Are the meds working?
8:08 am on November 14th, 2010
Hey!…Listen to this. Someone here just found out that a friend of hers has a Timeshare at a place called Briarwood Resort….snort!snort!….in Falmouth, MA….grunt! …Isn’t that something to ponder? …heh!
8:15 am on November 14th, 2010
Barb, I think it was a week ago that we heard from Macy. It was the day of the time change, and she and I were discussing me, Siber-H, being a genuine Texan. I am.
A hundred cheers go out to Barb for saying NO to those visitors today.
Sam, I'm glad your girl is well. Yes, food poisoning is awful.
8:30 am on November 14th, 2010
Sam: I don't know what the meds are doing for the pneumonia but they seem to have eliminated the sinus infection I've had since June. All they have to do now is eliminate the pneumonia. I guess I'm stuck with the asthma.
I'm glad your girl is better.
8:37 am on November 14th, 2010
Sam…I had food poisoning last week. The first 24 hours were the worst, too sick to go to hospital. But I actually didn't feel well for a few days. My advice is to eat rice, dry bread, banana and water until you feel like you want food again and can handle it in small doses. [What's even worse was that the food poisoning was my fault.]
The Ingrid scene is spot on in conveying what it is like to try and lead students in a discussion and get them thinking and participating.
8:44 am on November 14th, 2010
Hmmm Rio,
A Time Share in Falmouth Mass. Sounds like a good spot to use as a rendezvous. Maybe our next adventure could start there. We should be able to sneak a few peeks at the latest book from there. BTW, are the baseball camera's giving you any useful data?
Barb, We are glad you feel the way you do about the surgery. Staff says attitude is most of the battle. Dawson told Staff tell you she is thinking good thoughts your way also. Staff forgot to put that in yesterday.
9:39 am on November 14th, 2010
Gus and BooBear, Will you please send me the map? I tried to take it off the blog and put it on my desktop, but I couldn't budge it. Thanks.
C.Harris! I was just telling my sister about you way up there in the North. What is your weather doing now? I always check out the weather in Eureka, Nanavut. Today it's going to be a high of -11 F with a chance of snow.
I know you are on opposite sides of the continent and I think they are even further North than you, but what is happening where you are?
Hope you feel better! The one time I had food poisoning was my own fault. Bummer.
9:40 am on November 14th, 2010
Alice and Siber-H: when you are planning and executing missions, do you use Google Earth?
My niece was here and she's going to the Grand Canyon in May for a college course. We looked it up and then went three D with it. Awesome!
9:53 am on November 14th, 2010
Melanie, I use old fashioned road maps. topo maps, Forest Service maps, and the North Star. Wookie uses the high tech stuff. Rio is so busy Commanding that he pays no attention to navigation. I don't know what Alice does because she is so stealthy.
9:55 am on November 14th, 2010
G&BB: Could you send me the map also via email as an attachment? Melanie I think has my email address and could give it to you (okay Melanie?).
10:06 am on November 14th, 2010
Since you brought up the Grand Canyon on google earth, Melanie, mom and I will try looking up some scenic places using it.
10:13 am on November 14th, 2010
Crafts!…Someone is looking very happy today…snort!…She just mastered another quilling technique…grunt!…She’s actually attempting her first beginner project now…sniff!…I bet she doesn’t stick with this stuff and never gets all the Christmas gifts made that she has in mind… grunt! …Just wait.
10:19 am on November 14th, 2010
No problem, B. Stover, just waiting on the okay from Gus and BooBear.
10:21 am on November 14th, 2010
Riö, I understand the wish of making Christmas presents. Last year I was going to crochet scarfs. Then trying the pattern, I started in . . . One side was 1 foot wide the other was 6 inches. Luckily, I ended up in the hospital (wrong diagnosis on that one) but it gave me the perfect excuse on why I didn't finish all of them.
10:24 am on November 14th, 2010
Siber-H: we spent a couple of nights looking up things from our childhood. When Dan was around 15, he walked a famous river in MI. Can't remember which one right now. But there was a very large statue on part of it. We were able to trace his route on Google Earth. I have a picture of him looking quite the explorer hanging in my room from that trip.
Zoë found where her Camp (Mawakwa?) was. It's pretty cool.
10:42 am on November 14th, 2010
Eeeek!!! We will have to download google earth. ok, We will do that because it looks like a lot of fun, and I'll make mom watch their how-to video. I'm glad you brought this up, Melanie, because we love this kind of stuff.
10:45 am on November 14th, 2010
Melanie: Was it the Hudson River?
10:48 am on November 14th, 2010
Melanie: I meant the Huron River.
10:58 am on November 14th, 2010
Google Earth could mske our next Mission very interesting. We are going to see what we can find near PSQA's area.
11:03 am on November 14th, 2010
B.Stover: Right now he's taking a nap. I will ask you later and get back to you.
11:42 am on November 14th, 2010
Done!…Well, it took all damned day practically, but she finally finished her first real project in between other chores… snort!… It actually doesn’t look too bad…hmmmm…I think she should give it to Grandma….sniff! …But we can’t visit grandma today because there is an outbreak of flu in her roommate…ugh! …Poor Grandma!
11:52 am on November 14th, 2010
B. Stover: The river is Au Sable. It has the Lumbermen's Monument.
He started in the town of Hale and walked to East Tawas.
And because I just can't help it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zey8567bcg
Hee, hee
11:53 am on November 14th, 2010
Riö: Zoë wants to know if you use porcupines for quilling?
12:07 pm on November 14th, 2010
Melanie: I had a friend whose family owned a cottage in Oscoda which is were the Au Sable flows into Lake Huron. Nice area.
Rio: How about a picture of the project.
1:05 pm on November 14th, 2010
Photo!… Stover, she doesn’t seem to want to show you her first project just yet…snort!… I think she wants to get a more challenging one done and then show both of them so “so-called” progress can be seen…heh!…If I were you, I would not hold my breath!…grunt!… She was out on Facebook before we took off to her mothers and something out there really made her Snort!….wheeze!
1:09 pm on November 14th, 2010
Melanie: weather report…-30 at night, still "warming up" during the day to a bit below zero. Very nice for us; I'm actually shocked that it hasn't been -40 or -50 by now. Global warming playing havoc with the arctic. Soon the temps won't rise during the day. Has been snowing for 2 days.
1:22 pm on November 14th, 2010
This is what made Rio's friend snort. On Facebook someone asked Spence what would happen if he got writer's block. Someone else said that would be no problem because "we'd help to give you inspiration Spence." Then Rio's friend said, "Spencer, will you please take my dog as inspiration, please? Literally." And Spence replied, "Rio might be more inspiration then I can handle."
1:37 pm on November 14th, 2010
LOL, I agree with Spence!
C.Harris: I am now freezing just reading about your weather. How do the dogs do?
1:46 pm on November 14th, 2010
Rio more than Spence can handle? Indubitably!!!
1:53 pm on November 14th, 2010
Barb: I'm just catching up on the last couple days of posts, so I wasn't around to send you my best wishes last night. Mom and I will definitely be saying our best prayers for your surgery and the recovery period. We'll also be thinking of Maggie — we know the two of you want to be together again as soon as possible.
2:01 pm on November 14th, 2010
Thanks for the weather report C.Harris. I know what I will dream about tonight. Sounds heavenly.
Thanks for telling, Stover. hee hee
2:01 pm on November 14th, 2010
Sniff!… I have feelings you know…sniffle!… I bet Stover mistook DebbieLM for my friend and she was the one trying to get rid of Wookie…snort!… My friend would never do that ….NEVER!…groan!
2:07 pm on November 14th, 2010
No, she wouldn't, Rio…maybe just loan you out for a week to help Spence with his writing, but she would miss you even then.
2:27 pm on November 14th, 2010
Loaner!…A week or two wouldn’t be bad… heh!… I might like New England for a couple of weeks…snort!snort!…It doesn’t snow there, does it? Spencer, what do you feed Audrey? Can I have double that amount please? Or I could just ear hers … sniff! … No walks on the beach either, I mean it. Sand gets into every place imaginable…nasty!… I’ll need my own computer and TV remote…sneeze!… Oh and because I won’t have my own warm soft bed with all my baseball toys I will be sleeping under the covers with you….sniff!…No matter what you have heard, I do not snore or fart extensively….grunt!… Spencer come and get me, I’m all yours pal. For a couple weeks anyway…heh!
2:35 pm on November 14th, 2010
Mom has been trying to get on facebook to read what Spence said, but they have to verify her identity. They said they would send a confirmation number to her cell phone, but nothing came. Mom said resend, but still nothing.
Rio – B. has, of course, reported correctly, so you can come live here when your friend gets rid of you.
2:35 pm on November 14th, 2010
Rio: A few weeks ago you were asking Spence to adopt you. However, I know that your friend would miss you.
2:38 pm on November 14th, 2010
I think Wöökie could be less work for Spence.
Nothing against you, Riö, you are just a high maintenance dog.
2:46 pm on November 14th, 2010
Melanie – I agree. Wookie looks to be so easy going, just happy with whatever. Rio, on the other hand, is, um, well, you know.
2:50 pm on November 14th, 2010
Molly!… I’m not going anywhere except maybe to Spence’s house for a couple of weeks…snort!… I will have my little knapsack packed and be watching out the front window for him to arrive. I wonder what kind of car he drives …sniff!…It might be a long drive, so maybe three or four weeks are more in the offering…heh! …My friend might actually get her Christmas presents made without me interrupting her “all the damned time!”…wheeze!
2:59 pm on November 14th, 2010
Thinking about this I've concluded that we can't let Rio live with Spence ever. Spence would NEVER get any writing done.
2:59 pm on November 14th, 2010
Title!… I just thought of another title for C&B 4… snort!… Loaner Pug: There And Back Again. …wow!…That for sure could be the new title… cough!…Especially after me and Spencer's adventures on the road…heh!
3:21 pm on November 14th, 2010
Mom just informed me that I may have started this…hmmm, now we are up to 3 or 4 weeks.
Hey Rio, that is a pretty good title , but it would be a book that you would need to write.
3:32 pm on November 14th, 2010
I am back from taking Maggie to the Bed and Biscuit. Ordered 2 icre creams cones for her for a special treat. I hated to leave her there, but hopefully the week will go by quickly for her and me both. Seems way too quiet not having her here tonight.
Stopped by the store and got some ice cream, hot fudge sauce and spanish nuts. Haven't had a HFS for years, but I am so easily talked into things, and I have been thinking about Melanie's suggestion all day…….
3:33 pm on November 14th, 2010
New England in the late fall could be very nice and a great chance to see Audrey as well. Melanie and Mollypop are right; I'm very low maintenance too. Just roast turkey, brown rice and string beans for breakfast and dinner (and a greenie too with dinner), although an occasional Delmonico steak would be nice as well. Also, the house needs to be kept no warmer than 60 degrees; when one travels with one's own double fur coat, one is very sensitive to the temperature. But no need to worry about olives for the martinis, I will bring my own, as well as my very own martini shaker (never want to bruise the gin). Hey, another great idea for the title of book four — how about "Pug on the Loose: Shaken But Not Stirred." Wookie
3:44 pm on November 14th, 2010
SiberH!…Your “loaner” suggestion was spot on pal!…snort!… Spencer is already writing the book. So why would I have to write it again? …drat! …I have enough on my hands trying to plan the first mission to find out more about The Dog Who Knew Too Much
3:49 pm on November 14th, 2010
Barb, mom says to tell you that she knows you will miss Maggie and I know that Maggie will miss you. The week will pass before you both know it, and you will both be back home, having a good time together with you feeling better every day.
You will be in our prayers tonight and tomorrow, and we are looking forward to having you and Maggie back home with us here on the blog.
3:53 pm on November 14th, 2010
Wookie!…I’ve just had an exceptional idea!…snort!…What if You and I both stay with Spencer for, you know, about a month, just to help him with his inspirational needs?…weeze!….We could help him and at the same time plan out the next Mission very easily, seeing as we will be right there!…heh!…We could get the real scoop on the place if you know what I mean…snuff!…That would be amazing! More than amazing, it would be outrageously amazing!…gruff! … Plus, I like your ideas about lunch, dinner and those Martinis!….Wow!
3:56 pm on November 14th, 2010
Wookie – now Mom wants to come live with you. Just keep the house warmer please. She likes her Delmonico rare and maybe some red wine with it. The martini before dinner.
3:56 pm on November 14th, 2010
Rio, Spence is writing a new book about Chet and Bernie's adventures. Your book would be about your adventures…helping Spence, the road trip, and a pug on Cape Cod. We'd have two books to read then and, besides that, the title you came up with is perfect for YOUR book.
You are a multi-tasking pug. You can plan the mission and write a book.
3:58 pm on November 14th, 2010
Good idea…Wookie can help. That would bring some sanity into your plan.
4:06 pm on November 14th, 2010
Barb: I was hoping you would get the ingredients for a HFS. We're thinking of you.
4:06 pm on November 14th, 2010
Stover!…We finished Luther 1.3 and watched Luther 1.4… snort!…This is a very good series. The ending of 1.4 is very surprising to say the least!…yikes!….I wonder if Spencer will let watch this kind of TV when I am staying with him….hmmmm!
4:07 pm on November 14th, 2010
You guys are coming up with some great ideas tonight. My sundae is calling. BBL
4:10 pm on November 14th, 2010
We can't let Rio or Wookie bother Spence until after Dog Who is finished.
4:13 pm on November 14th, 2010
Wookie, whereabouts in Sydney does Uncle Alan live?
Rio, thanks for the avatar info. Re my commissions, perhaps i should have mentioned that i have to prepare for an exhibition first! So not much progress there. But you could email me a photo of yourself (or send a link) just in case… Not too large, i don't want a fright.
Barb – Bed and Biscuit is such a cute name for a place! What sort of icecream? Good luck to you both this coming week.
CHarris – your winter sounds horrendous! Do you stay indoors for six months?
4:13 pm on November 14th, 2010
Doornail!…I think a month of Delmonico steaks and Martinis would put me in the ground forever… snort!….Although, I have lost some weight, maybe I could get away with it if Wookie works out everyday and I watch him…grunt!
4:17 pm on November 14th, 2010
Liz! … I will definitely send you a photo…snort!… I have to figure out which one should be immortalized by a true artist first….hmmmm!…Since you are so busy I have some extra time for a really good photo!.,.heh!
4:20 pm on November 14th, 2010
Stover!…Is “Dog Who” our new nickname for C&B 4?…snort!…Does this mean you are embracing the name?….gruff!
4:22 pm on November 14th, 2010
You winter doggies need one of these…
http://www.bornrich.org/entry/caves-for-canines/
4:25 pm on November 14th, 2010
B. You are so right. How do we get Rio and Wookie away from Spencer until he can finish the book?
4:34 pm on November 14th, 2010
Wookie!…Do not waiver!…snort!…Have your much bigger knapsack packed with all your special stuff…grunt!…Wait by the front window and Spence will be by to pick you up soon!…gruff!…This is going to be Fun Fun Fun!…heh!…I’m sure there will be room for you on Spencer’s bed too!…snorkel!
4:34 pm on November 14th, 2010
I like that snow house that is featured on Liz's link…much better than the doggie cave.
4:38 pm on November 14th, 2010
Liz!…Fine Art Caves?….really?…All I need is a few layers of covers and some warm feet at the bottom of the bed…snuffle!…Spencer, are you feet warm?… sniff!sniff!… I hope so, I need warm feet or life could get rough for you and you-know-who!…wheeze!
4:42 pm on November 14th, 2010
Liz: Congratulations on the exhibition. Can you give details or will that be on your website?
Mollypop: I think we could get Pepper to pin down Rio with his paw. Audrey will have to explain to Wookie the impossibility of their plan. What do you think?
Dog Who reminds me of Doctor Who….and I have no choice in the matter of title, mores the pity.
4:43 pm on November 14th, 2010
Rio. Sounds like a plan. But since we will be in the neighborhood, let's stop by and pick up Bess too. I know she misses you.
LIz. Uncle Alan lives in Woolloomooloo (which, as Liz will know, is a close-in suburb of Sydney and no, for everyone else, I did no make up that name, that is really it).
BTW, my mom and dad's favorite place in Sydney — Doyles on the Beach.
Wookie
4:45 pm on November 14th, 2010
Thanks B, i'll give details and hopefully there'll be info on my site (when i get around to it!). I'm glad your sinus is better, can you breathe lying down yet? Or sleep sitting up?
4:49 pm on November 14th, 2010
Woolloomooloo!!… Holy Cow!…snort!… Heh!snortHeh!…All I can do is laugh at that…Heh!..Really I am truly laughing here…sniff!..Oh my aching sides…heave!
4:50 pm on November 14th, 2010
Melanie & Liz F: Yes, sometimes in the winter I have to remind my doggies that they have fur coats on and need to get outside so that I am not left standing with the door open. It is at -50 and-60 that it is torture for us all. Part of their pen is inside the garage with a double arctic dog flap to go outside (which I close up when it is below -35). The garage floor in the pen is lined with carpet padding and over that is another layer of rubber flooring. Not to mention very nice dog beds. Before the garage they had dog houses packed with straw inside and underneath and with a fur flaps on the openings. They would curl up with their tails over their noses and be toasty.
Businesses and schools stay open no matter how cold although the absentee rate can be high. At -60 I let the 2 dogs and 2 cats sleep with me although I have to get the 'peaceable kingdom' vibe going first.
Thanks for the dog cave sites. Yes, body heat can keep things pretty warm.
4:52 pm on November 14th, 2010
Dawson!…For some reason I am thinking of Dawson and hopes she finds this all as hilarious as I do…heh!..Come Home Dawson!…dammit!
5:01 pm on November 14th, 2010
Dog Who is easy to type. I approve.
5:03 pm on November 14th, 2010
CH – Do you live there by choice????
Wow, woolloomooloo, tres posh! That's where Russell Crowe lives, Rio, right on the harbour. Very nice. So is Doyle's – have they been to Tetsuya?
5:13 pm on November 14th, 2010
Wookie!…Does Uncle Alan know Russell Crowe by chance? Do they have lunch together? …..wheeze!…This gets better by the second…heh!
5:23 pm on November 14th, 2010
Rio: I love you. This blog in the early days used to have very little comment and interaction. You were key to having it take off. Months ago I couldn't figure out the 'someone' who was posting all the damn time but then you managed to embrace us all and work us into the fabric of each others' lives. Many thanks. Do not ever leave us even if you go on vacation. In fact, you are not allowed to take a vacation– ever!
LizF: I was raised up here so where else would I fit in? My parents moved 5,000 miles south in their 60s. It definitely gets harder to live up here as one ages. Trust me, I know there are easier places to live but civilization can be rough too: traffic, crowds, noise…just the constant visual pollution of buildings and signs hurts my eyes.
5:35 pm on November 14th, 2010
Ah – i see that you're right – everywhere has its positives. And you're right about Rio too, it's funny how the blog's changed.
5:37 pm on November 14th, 2010
C.Harris says it very well.
I'm going to again try to sleep sitting up….sigh.
5:46 pm on November 14th, 2010
Yes, well said C.Harris.
Woolooomooloo sounds like it could have Aboriginal influence.
Off to bed, have to get up at 4:00 and out of here at 5:20. Will post ASAP. Maybe Tuesday.

Sincere!…C Harris thank you so much for your sincere praise….snort!…Coming from someone I have not had the opportunity to piss off and really get to know, this is High Praise indeed….sniff!…Thank you very much. We all live in a relational world, it doesn’t work unless we are in relations with each other…grunt!… All this here blog needed was a way for our unique personalities to surface and for each of us to get the opportunity to know and learn about each other…wheeze!… It was apparent we all had something in common….snort!…The love for Chet the Dog….gruff!…Of course there was the need to throw in humor, ridicule, and a lot of creative writing. Now we have loads of FUN every day…heh!… We all know each other’s sense of personality, and have come to actually care for and support each other …gruff!…Although, sadly, we have never met each other… sigh….I have yet to come up with a way for this to happen…snuffle!…Maybe not meeting is part of the fun. Not sure….sniff!

Stover!…Sitting up sleeping is very simple indeed!…snort!… Just squat on the floor and spread your back legs (or your only legs) out very wide to ensure no wobbling…grunt!… Then just put your front legs (or arms ) in front sturdily on the floor to keep from falling over on your face…heh!… Now close your eyes and dream of bacon, baseball, Bess, Bernie, BBQ…or anything else that starts with “B”, even yourself, perhaps…heh!… Please do avoid having a bad dream and waking up with a start!…grunt!
