Good morning, everyone! Hope everyone survived last evening’s game. Spence, thank you for sharing that commercial. We here love going for rides in mom’s Scooteroo and watching the “dog tested” ads.
    Have a million dollas Monday.

    Love the Subaru commercial!

Love today’s GOOGLE doodle celebrating the Chinese New Year!

I am so happy for Rio, Beau, and Friend…their Broncos won it!

Awww. We missed that one last night.

Welcome home, Howlers. We here missed you! Hope you aren’t going to get slammed by the incoming storm.

So nice to see both BlueKat and ML show up last night. Wish we would see more of them (hint, hint)

Good morning, all. Thanks for sharing that commercial, Spence.

We saw another Subaru dog commercial the other day. The dog woofs and then the computer voice responded in error. I thought it was so funny, because Kelly and I actually experienced that when we drove to Kohler, WI last October. She kept asking directions and the computer voice kept misunderstanding her. It went on and on and we were giggling hysterically by the time she gave up.

I thought the puppy-monkey-baby ad was dumb but the “experts” rated it as one of the best. Evidently it was supposedly funny because almost all ads feature a monkey, a puppy or a baby. They called it marketing genius.

Good Monday Morning!! Mom posted last night that Cam Newton had impressed her in his pregame interview. Now he wiped out his good impression when he walked off the stage after the game. Not a graceful loser.

Mom got great news last night. Her former pet sitter (who has retired and moved to Arizona) is going to come to town and house and pet sit for us while Mom heads North to Alaska! She has friends and family she can visit during the week as well as enjoy some of the things the big city of Houston can offer her that her small town doesn’t have. This is a big relief. Mom totally trusts her friend to take good care of us and she will be able to enjoy her vacation without worrying. PLUS this means some of the money earmarked for pet sitting can be sent to Snowhook to help sponsor a dog and checkpoint. Mom will be checking that out this evening!

Speaking of dog commercials, this is a favorite of mine…

BooBear: That is great news! I am so happy that your mom is going north to Alaska and that she has a trusted friend who can pet sit for youse. Your mom will definitely have a great time!

BooBear – how wonderful! Being able to go away and not worry about your loved ones is the best! We thank dawg for having Gramp here all the time when we go off and do shows.

Speaking of such things – we have noticed something lately about Miss Tupper. Since her little episode with the bubble in her spine, she has been a real clinging vine. She simply MUST be wherever I am. She won’t even sleep in her own bed anymore; she insists on sleeping directly under where I sleep in the big bed. Gramp tells us that when we leave the house to do errands, that Tupper gets anxious and yappy. Has anyone else experienced this with an older dog? Any theories about why? We speculate that maybe her hearing or eyesight are diminishing, and she wants the security of Mama.
And her Mama will always be here to hold her paw.

Good afternoon! I gave up on the SB just before half time. I missed most of the ads. Thanks, Spencer, for posting that. We were supposed to get one or two inches of snow today. I believe we are at about four now. The snow will continue until the early hours.
I am under the quilt. There is a virus going around. I am getting into bed and drinking tea.

A Snow Day should not be spent under the Quilt! Hope you Feel Better Soon.

Royal Mum: You are Tupper’s Love and Comfort as she and Gilly are yours.

    Wose: Loved the Puppy Commercial!

Hounds: Really? A Million Monday! Wowzer, We’ll take it.

We are having a snow day also. It is a rather strange snow day. The shelter belt/woods is doing a good job. Right out the back (North) door it is sunny.

But out the other window to the east it is blowing like crazy.

What Martha said. The weather guy told us a dusting to an inch – well….there is substantially more. Maybe he was just talking about the top inch on top of the other 5 or 6 that has already fallen.

Doncha wonder how somebody who gets their job wrong day in and day out still gets to keep their job?

T & G, It seems that when they tell you to duck for cover, the skies are clear. Then when they tell you it will be an inch or two, it is double or triple that. What gives?

Josh and Jess went to a friend’s home for SB yesterday and they had already started all their garden seedlings – some were an inch or two high already. Humm? We are over 3 months away from planting tomatoes!

T&G’s maw, here I am late as usual. Hi Blukat. Hi everybody!

Hi ML. We miss you. And that smart-moyth, sassy little min-pin too.

We will be out of touch for a while tomorrow. Gramp has to have a toe fixed at the hospital. Mama is taking him, and then gets to be his chauffeur/personal servant for the next four weeks.
Doesn’t that sound like tons of fun?

    G’night, family. Sleep in peace.
