Rio is correct. Auction Central is heating up. IVs have been delivered and set up to inject the coffee directly into our brave and tireless volunteers, Rio and Wookie. AC is not for the feint of heart. The thin black ties and black rimmed glasses a la NASA’s mission control have also been delivered. I thought about going with full suits for Wookie and Rio, but I thought Rio’s curly tail would appreciate the freedom that just a tie provides.

BooBear here. No improvement in Gus. He has a vet appt 1st thing in the morning unless emergency care is needed. He is still eating and drinking but his sides and chest heave with each breath and heartbeat. No strength to jump up onto furniture. He is sleeping almost all the time which is probably good for him.
This episode came on him fairly rapidly. His biggest problem is that each episode leaves him worse… He stabilizes but doesn’t improve. Mom and Dad are very concerned (Mom is a wreck).
Thank you all for the positive thoughts and prayers. I know they help.

Hi, guys. Update on Gus…no better, but no worse. Mom will take him to the vet tomorrow morning first thing to see if there is anything that can be done about the labored breathing. He is breathing like he has congestive heart failure. Maybe they can ease that somewhat.
I just KNOW that all the wonderful posts and thoughts you guys sent today helped. Mom checked on her Iphone at work and got all weepy. She appreciates it very, very much. And she knows that the prayer will reach listening ears that will hopefully decide that it is not quite Gus’s time to cross the bridge.

Creator – we thank you for this wonderful day, a day when friendship and support has surrounded all of us. This day, we have seen the love we all share for each other. We have felt the hugs across the miles, and rejoiced in the smiles that we picture on our friends.
