Stephen King
Mr. King has read an advance copy of THE RIGHT SIDE (coming June 27). Here’s his take, or blurb, as it’s called in the industry:
“Brilliant. Deeply felt, but totally under control. I loved it.”

Good morning all. Mr. King has been on some covers for the C & books. He is a fan of OFA.

Good morning! Weird dreams last night kept waking Mom up so she is not tiptop this A.M. Hope that changes. It’s payroll day so she is busy, busy.

Weird Dreams here too…not of the Stephen King variety…but Strange none the less.
Mr King is indeed a Fan of OFA.
Hey, Macy, Hope your leg is better today.

King!…That is a mysterious blurb!…snort!…”Deeply felt, but totally under control.” What does that mean?…sniff!sniff!

I think “deeply felt, but totally under control” may mean that Spence did not let the action turn into melodrama. In other words, the plot seems believable.

Greetings!
Very nice blurb from Stephen King!
It is a rainy day here in this neck of the woods.
Grizz and I had our annual physicals last evening. It appears that we will both live. :^)
I just finished reading “A Tree Grows In Brooklyn.” As a young girl, I would read that book every summer. This is the first time I have read this book in about 40 years…what a great book!

Good day to everyone. We are a little behind schedule here. Mom came home from the library to find a crane in the back yard and the offending tree quartered and on a flat bed truck. All this for $125 less than the deductible. The DDD knows the guy who owns the tree service. He asked when the target was coming off of us?
Stephen King has interesting insights in his blurbs.
Sunny and cooling here, more winter feel to the air.
Glad Wose and Grizz passed their dr. tests.

HOH, Is that the total of the damage, or is there roof or structural damage?
5:31 pm on January 24th, 2017
Wonder if Mary would post an update on Addi’s condition. Haven’t heard anything for several days.
5:43 pm on January 24th, 2017
BMALS, that was the tree. The roof guy is looking at the “new” roof as we speak.
6:13 pm on January 24th, 2017
Hope that the roof isn’t too awfully expensive.
As to Howlers’ question yesterday, you know, people ask me that sometimes. How did you train her? Answer’s still the same. I don’t know. I had all these plans for how I’d train her for traffic, for example. She just short circuited all of them and developed traffic sense anyway. Really all I did was walk her around, first on leash, then in harness, having her sit at intersections to reinforce that you stop for curbs. Let her spend some time sort of pseudo guiding whil e I used a cane and just sort of walked her through the things she didn’t understand (not much of that), praised effusively for going around obstacles and doing other things right. Somehow, without me noticing, she started doing more of the work on her own. That about sums it up, really.

Buddy&Hilde: Youse are a Team. Just like Chet & Bernie!
7:44 pm on January 24th, 2017
Yes indeedy. And Leno, don’t forget Leno. He’s taken to retirement pretty well.
8:13 pm on January 24th, 2017
Leno is a lucky guy. Does he stay and support your Melanie and daughter?
BMALS, the only roof damage is 2 pieces of metal roof with small holes. The guy
who installed the original is giving us a break. I’m all, it is about the deductible but with subcontractors we know (and trust).
8:20 pm on January 24th, 2017
Heh, hen…we’ll bet Leno had a part in Hilde’s training too.
