Good morning, everyone! The video was almost as good as being at one of the book signings 🙂 Glad Rio checked in last night. Raining canines and felines here. Mom is hiding the computer and heading for her time at the library.
Plunderfest Vermont folks, enjoy, wish we were there.

When we had our last plunderer meeting here in Amherst and then on to Massachusetts, I had to use a substitute passport because I couldn’t find the real one. I was afraid I had lost that beautiful passport made by the Turtleman when I moved. But happy happy, yesterday it turned up. It was hiding in plain sight in my bookshelves.

Hello All–wishing Plunderfest participants a wonderful (and safe) time.
HOH–My library exhausted their budget for substitute librarians, so I won’t be called back until July (grump–no excuse not to do housework). envy you your rain, anyway (if that makes any sense).
Nice to see that Spence checks the blog daily. I assume Chet does, too.
BSD–You were capitalizing Nouns and Adjectives. Like a German (the nouns, anyway).
I am starved for music and fun, but will have to make do with a) ballet class; and b) a shower with Conan (which always has some added entertainment value related to his willingness to get into the shower or not).
    Have a delightful day, all.

DianeC: So that’s why BSD posts that way…it’s the German Shepard Dog in him.
I remember Macy’s Mom asking once if there had been a sale on capital letters. snicker.
Siber: Where would this party take place?

  23. Zeus
    1:14 pm on June 24th, 2014

We could have the party at my place. I haven’t yet dug up all 16 acres. But someone will need to figure out the combination to get me out of this house.

  24. dawson
    1:14 pm on June 24th, 2014

Thieves&SiberH: I may dig a hole in solidarity with youse. I like to stick a plant in the hole and put the dirt back in the hole!

First, I am going to pick the car up after having the snow tires removed. Yes, I am a bit late because I don’t use the car much.

    Vermont Plunderfest is happening!

  25. dawson
    1:18 pm on June 24th, 2014

    Oops!
Zeus: I didn’t mean to leave you out of the above hole digging!

  26. Siber-H
    1:24 pm on June 24th, 2014

We could have the digging party at my house because mom thinks it is good for my mental health to dig. I don’t know what difference a few more sled dogs would make.

Zeus, a few well-placed explosives would get you out of the house, but, remember, you don’t like to leave the house.

  27. Masquers
    1:24 pm on June 24th, 2014

Dawson: In this part of the country we are penalized if snow tires are not removed by a certain date…usually by the end of March….it is supposed to be bad for the roads.

  29. Zeus
    1:36 pm on June 24th, 2014

Siber, I do like to leave the house, as long as there is a 2-legged with me. Can your mom hang out while we dig?

  30. Siber-H
    1:50 pm on June 24th, 2014

Sure, Zeus, Mom’s favorite activity in life is to hang out with dogs.

Bear, The Pugs are, of course, invited and then tomorrow we can all watch the World Cup game.

  31. Zeus
    2:04 pm on June 24th, 2014

Siber, Your mom is much more cooperative than this mom. Whenever I get into my best, fastest digging mode, she says “Zeus!”, and then for some reason I am distracted for a while.

  32. Siber-H
    2:21 pm on June 24th, 2014

Zeus, There is nothing in my yard that dogs can harm…like flowers or shrubbery. There are only big trees for shade. I might have exposed a few tree roots, but the trees still seem happy.

  33. Herd of Hounds

Mr. Siber H, sounds like our yard except there a go-zillion trees ( Mom says that is mucho, amigo). Pookey is the only rarely digging dog, and look at DDD’s name…Dirty Daddy Digger Dawg. He likes it digging 🙂

Staff, mom smiled when she read yesterday that you like to read romance novels. She thought she was all alone with that. Except for Jasper’s mom. She liked to read them too. Mom started out reading A LOT of romance books, but now reads other types too.

Digging friends–would you be available for some grading work (it’s a lot like digging, but you end up smoothing the dirt down so that an entire surface is level)? If so, I have a project for you.
If Master Rio puts in an appearance, I was shopping for a special gift for a two-legged friend, and found something that made me think of him. Photo attached.

Masquers: I think you are referring to studded snow tires. Winter tires must be used in B.C. on cars from November sometime until April 15th. They are not studded and do not damage the roads any more than summer tires. They are not meant for dry pavement so will wear out faster, make more noise and get worse gas mileage if used in the summer.

  40. Mollypop's Mom
    7:03 pm on June 24th, 2014

New York state does not allow studded tires. Visitors crossing the border from northern Ontario, where studded tires are allowed, are stopped at the border.

    Greetings!

Grizz and I made it to Plunderfest, Vermont! Vermont is just beautiful! The Royal Mum, and the Storyteller were already there when we arrived. I met Tupper and Gilly! I gave them some treats, rubbed some tummies, and played with them. I think Teddy remembered me! When I first met him he was a pup. Boy, he is really big now! It was good to see Teddy’s mom and pop, too. I gave Teddy a great big bone.

We had a wonderful salad for lunch, and then we had cawfee and ice cream with fresh strawberries.

And guess who I met? Rio managed to escape from his back yard, and hitch a ride with the Royals.

It was a lot of fun!

I have to figure out how to get my pictures from my iPhone to this here iPad.

Hi everyone. We are home after a Grand Day in Vermont. It was absolutely wonderful in every possible way, but there wasn’t
T any internet up there, so we had to get home to post photos.
