My motto has always been bark softly and carry a big stick.

I’m laughing at her stick but Cassie is a beauty.

    Good morning all.

Good morning BooBear, Teddy RR, B and everyone! Love Cassie’s story. Tinker Belle loves sticks, too and can get them through the dog doors but she insists on chewing them. We were abandoned for an hour and a half cause mom needed a battery for the Scooteroo. We should have been included. Freezing rain this a.m. But should be almost 50*F tomorrow, YEAH!
Have a marvelous Monday one and all.

    Greetings!

Who’s a good Cassie?! Love her stick story!

Teddy RR: I don’t believe I have ever heard you bark…

A cloudy day here. Some snow or mixed precipitation expected this afternoon.

    A good day to all!

You never know when a stick will come in handy. Ms. Cassie is well prepared for any situation. We are having spits of rain (but nevertheless welcome) and I’m waiting for a plumber. I have a feeling he’s forgotten the appointment since he called yesterday to ask if he was supposed to be there. Seemed reassured to know that the appointment was for today, but now I’m starting to wonder.
HOH, tell your Mom to wrap up warmly and keep taking fluids. Also, Edgar’s eye continues to improve and he appreciates the inquiry.
Everyone, same advice I guess. Keep warm.

    What a day!
    * Sadie is still a 3-legged Dog
    * Old credit card cancelled due to fraud. Spent morning updating all my auto-pays with the new card. I hate those long phone menus and I hate websites that arent user friendly.
    * Last night I emptied my master bedroom except for bed frame and dresser. Handy man was to come and rip out carpet and install carpet tiles. I talked to him last night. This morning: No show, no call. Finally he responded to my query saying his vehicle’s alternator went out. That excuse sounds vaguely familiar.
    * foster cat was spayed Dec 12th and she is in full-on heat! It looks like surgery will have to be redone. The yowling is about to do me in.
    * I left my workout bag at the gym with my mini iPad inside. It took me a while to remember it and more time to retrieve it.
    Day is almost done. Whew

Wose–Edgar and I thank you, though both he and Ms. Pretty are bummed about not being able to spend much time outside (because now we’re having REAL RAIN!)
Thieves–I forgot about the not getting caught part. Also, if you’re going to shed, we should all also carry lint rollers.
The plumber got lost and rescheduled for today. Given the rain I think I’m going to reschedule for tomorrow…
    Stay warm and dry.

Oh wait–Hobbitz–enormous sympathies. Might some catnip soothe the lady cat’s uh, discomfort?
